Conrad walks with Reg holding onto his shoulder. You walk with Mason holding onto your shoulder. Conrad's expression is firm and distressed. You's all walk silently to honestly, you don't know where. You hope the boat, but you get a feeling it's not a boat.

You's stop walking and Hank opens his mouth to speak first. "We have to get out of here.." He grits his teeth. You sit Mason down on a rock and she mutters her thanks from the pain. Packard looks to him instantly and shakes his head. Hank begins screaming at Packard, explaining how stupid his idea was and with how many men it got killed.

"Not without Chapman" Packard growls. Conrad breathes in and steps into the conversation.

"Chapman is dead" he declares, pulling out Chapman's dog tags. Packard stares at them. Everyone looks to Conrad shocked.

"I don't care" Packard says. "We are still going west" he says, looking to his soldiers. Conrad's eyes widen, confused on why Packard still wants to go.

"What's at that crash site that is so important" Conrad questions, stepping towards him. Packard takes in a deep breath.

"Weapons! Explosives! Things we need to kill Kong!" He roars.

"Kong didn't kill Chapman!" Conrad exclaims. But Packard doesn't let that phrase him.

"But he did kill these men" Packard shouts, pulling out multiple dog tags. Conrad stares at all of the dog tags, gently shaking his head. Hank steps back into the conversation.

"You- you can't kill Kong! Kong is God around here!" Hank exclaims, his expression furrowed and hands waving around. Packard chuckles and shakes his head, not agreeing with his words.

"We are going west" Packard grits his teeth. Hank breathes in deeply, quickly pulling out his sword and pointing it right at Packard. Packard snorts and whacks the sword out of Hank's hand with his gun. Packard shoves Hank to the ground, aiming his gun at Hank.

"Don't!" You shout, running at Packard but Conrad grabs a hold of you. Keeping you from Packard. You struggle against him for a brief moment as Packard aims his gun at you now.

"Not our fight" Conrad tells you, placing you behind him. Conrad raises his hands wide in surrender to Packard. "Packard, I'll take the civilians to the boat. Where we will wait there.. We will stay out of your way..." Conrad tells him. Packard stares at Conrad before lowering his weapon.

"Fine, move out!" Packard commands, turning his heel and walking away from you's. Conrad lets out a revealing sigh and helps up Hank. Conrad taps his shoulder while Hank mumbles and he turns back to you.

"Are you okay?" He asks softly and you look away from him, snorting to him. He sighs and looks to the sky. "Alright, let's move guys" Conrad says, leading the way.

"We can't let them do this to Kong" Hank mumbles as you walk over to Mason. You help Mason up and she sighs to Hank.

"Do you want to speak to him again? He seemed happy the first time" she comments as you help her walk. Hank shakes his head and walks away, walking towards Conrad. You sigh helping Mason over the rough ground.

The walk goes silent. Conrad and Hank ahead. Mason and you in middle. And Houston and San behind you. Mason hisses in pain at the pain rushing up her ankle. She has certainly twisted it, and perhaps broken it. You'll have to check it out when you's get to the boat.

Every time Conrad looks back to you he always receives a glare from you. Yes, yes, his intentions were for good but you just didn't take it that way. You don't need to have other people stand up for you.

You would have been perfectly fine, you think. Your words could have changed Packard's mind, but most likely not. But you still could have tried. But, Conrad just had to step it.

Kong saved you. And now you are letting him go to his death. It will give you a guilty conscience. It's as if giving away a present that someone went out of their way to get it. It just isn't right.

If they were going to kill the skullcrawlers, you would have been all for it. But Kong is King and God here. And the skullcrawlers are the demons below. They want this island to become Hell.

The walk continues to stay silent. You watch the sun begin to set. You sigh, hoping that the river is here somewhere. Mason grabs a tighter hold on you. Afraid that she will trip among one of the rocks.

You have to be careful. She's already going through enough pain but you aren't the best support. You were never one to love to work out. Your working out was literally sailing. If that somehow manages to make sense.

Conrad looks back and instantly notices your struggling. He sighs and walks back, offering a helping hand. If you could handle it without putting Mason through more pain then she would be receiving, you'd decline. But since it's her, it'd be rude and cruel for she shouldn't suffer for your issues.

Mason latches onto Conrad and he lifts her up. Gently grabbing ahold of her legs, avoiding more pain to her ankle. He walks carefully besides you's.

You's slow down your walk by wet land. Conrad puts Mason down on a log and rubs her head softly. He looks around and notices mushrooms growing. "There's water near" he says, standing back up properly.

Everyone stops walking, taking a breather. "Where do we go?" Houston asks. Everyone including you begin to look around.

"Wait" Conrad says in a near whisper. It goes silent, you watch Conrad with furrowed eyebrows, questioning what he is doing when you hear a roar. Kong's roar. Birds fly away from their hiding stops from their fright. You watch the birds fly out of distance and you stretch your body.

"I'm going to go look for a mountain" you inform, already walking. "To see which way the river is" you finish. Conrad sighs and begins to walk after you.

"Wait, I'm coming" he tells you.

I watched Kong again, whoops.

And I believe I am coming to an end.. If my plan is still going ahead, I'll only have 5-6 chapters left.. It hurts from all the support and love and ect. But it's really been an honour writing this.
