So while I was busy talking with my friends Nashi came and dragged me off grumbling at the part where they said that Uncle Natu was exactly like Nashi.
"I am nothing like my father! I have brains and brawns! He only has brawns!" Storm and I snickered at her as we continued on down the Library rows ignoring the look of concern of Jellal's daughters face when she saw this situation. I waved and she waved back. Storm looked at me smuggle as usual though I had no clue to as to why. Honestly he was so troublesome that I couldn't help but laugh at how much he was like his father. No offense intended!
"So Nashi," I looked at her as I got in a chair. "What did you find?" There was an urgency in my voice as it could be that she being her could find them. With everyone always so sad and lonely it was kinda my priority for them to be found after all one of them just so happens to be my mother whom I love dearly.
"Well thanks to your smart, intelligent, beautiful dragon slayer mage who is the awesomest in the world!" We rolled her eyes. "I have pinpointed the culprit to a certain mage who believes that stone statues of the strongest most beautiful women are his calling. Guess what his magic is?" We smirked.
"Turning people to stone?" Storm and I said.
"If you're going i'm coming to!" It was Javette. Jellal and Erza as I heard she was called had a cute child in reality though no one would care if I said that.
"Javette! It's dangerous!" I whisper yelled as she sat down by us. Her intent to go with is was strong as ever though I worried a bit about it considering the whole her being a council members daughter and all. I really REALLY don't want to die yet.
"I don't care! My mother could be there to! If you get to go I should to! Besides i'm stronger the stripper Storm over here!" Storm jumped up as he realized his clothes were not on his body.
"Can I finish?" Nashi said as Javette folded her arms over her chest not willing to be persuaded otherwise.
"Go ahead Nashi. The sooner we get them back the happier everyone will be." I said as we all payed attention.
"Well according to the witness reports I managed to piece together his appearance as well as his genetic information resulting in me finding the name Jonah Artian. He was once a famous sculptor before he began to use his magic on people." We all knew that it was against the law to do so unless of course it was Evergreen who has a counter to her magic.
"Okay. So he became a criminal. I'm guessing he lost his credibility and began going after the women he though fit to be his artwork meaning the strongest mages in history..." Javette said holding a finger to her bottom lip. "I've heard of him before but he's been inactive for a few years now." We all smiled. "According to local sightings he's often been seen in the abandoned castle over in the old capital!" We all smiled.
"Then off to the old capital we go!" We whispered as to not let the adults go. I was writing in my journal placing it back in it's hiding spot before smiling to myself.
My mother was taken from me without ever seeing who I would become without knowing the hurt that it would cause to the others around her. With one single light of hope I was all to prepared to throw myself into the fire if it meant getting the one person i've always wanted to meet back into the world and guild she belongs in. It's my dream and my hope! That's all there is to it!
Lucy was my mother's name it always has been and even though she may look different and heck she may not recognize me but it's enough of a lead for me to want to go. Seeing my dad smile again would make me so happy! Seeing the guild happy again would make it so worth the risk heck it already is! We may be kids physically as well as a bit mentally but all the same we are totally capable enough to find them! It's a priority the guild has had for years, but had no success.
This person needed to pay for what he has done to this guide, to the families who suffered for years! My friends suffered, my father suffered, I suffered and no one takes away from the Dreyar family and gets away with it not even if that person was once our ally! Family matters most so this guild matters to me the most! There is nothing in the world more painful than thinking as a kid that my mother was never gonna come back that I would be all alone to figure out my magic as well as the life they lived when they had me. My mom should be twenty-five right now and that's all I need to know to know that she legally had me.
"Well then. I suggest we get going before our families figure out our all too stupid and dangerous plan." Storm said as he made a water slide down from the balcony into the lake. We all hopped on the water riding it down into the lake laughing when we got out with our bags towards the old capital laughing the whole way there.
I promise that we'll bring them back. I promise you dad! I promise to bring Cana home Uncle Luke! I promise to bring back the lights of the guild that made you all smile! That is the duty I have as a child of the Dreyar family!
Mom...
You were a light in the shadows to everyone here. You were the one who made dad sane the one who made the guild whole. I need you now more than ever. Please lend me the strength to find you! I beg to Mavis that I find you! Please!
I promised them and like them I will promise to you.
I will find you mom.
I promise.
