Six years. It's been six years since my mother disappeared. No one talks about them anymore saying that it's to painful to know that they've been gone so long. My father seems to be the most affected. He's given me a good life don't get me wrong! I'm thankful that he did! It's just...
I wish he'd stop keeping himself in his office working his life away. None of the children here know what their mothers look like and it's kinda sad. My great Grandpa is somehow still alive though he's a bit more relaxed than he used to be apparently though that was according to my great-uncle Natsu and his friend Gray.
"Lucius! Come look at this!" It was Storm. He was Gray's son though he was hanging out with my cousin Nashi. We were hanging out as usual though we were in an abandoned section of the old Fairy Tail guild hall which we couldn't seem to renovate without someone throwing a hissy fit about how it was the only thing for them to remember how week they were those six years ago which confused me.
"It's a book? So what?" I said picking it up.
"Look at the title and the dates!" Nashi said pointing at the cover. "It was made seven years ago and they're photo albums!" Her eyes lit up. "You guys want to see what your parents look like right? So here's a perfect chance!" Storm's eyes lit up like the fourth of July.
"Look here's a ship called Gruvia!" As soon as we opened it Storm had tears in his eyes at the sight of a blue haired mage smiling with his father. His father was blushing while others were laughing as he sat her on his lap patting her head while she looked like she was blowing steam out her ears.
"Jerza? Isn't this Jellal's section?" Nashi said. We opened it to see the blue haired boy with a red tattoo with a red haired girl with a sweet smile both holding hands the girl leaning on the male's shoulder.
We looked through section after section till we stopped at the last one.
"Lalu..." Nashi whispered quietly. Her eyes went to mine as I ran my hand over the page before flipping it.
My father was smiling throwing peace signs with a blonde girl who had chocolate brown eyes and a pink fairy tail mark on her hand. She was smiling as my father looked like he was laughing. There were so many pictures. There was one of them where she was hiding in his neck while my father was flipping through music stroking her hair and another of her kissing him. The one that got me the most was the picture of my mother with a baby boy smiling as she placed a kiss onto his cheek.
"Mom..." A tear fell onto my hand. Seeing a picture of her made me smile the most. "You think anyone will mind if we take these?" I asked her. She shrugged.
"They're pretty old and I really don't think anyone would mind or they'd have taken them." I smiled as I shoved two photo album books in my bag.
"I think it's time we try to get out mother's back. Don't you?" They smiled as we all fist bumped. "We will not tell anyone. I don't think our parents would be thrilled if they figured out what we were doing." A smile graced her lips as I worked with what I had.
"Well fact's wise all I know is the person only took the girls as well as had the ability to turn them into stone statues. Kinda like Evergreen, but this time she was turned to stone. That's all there was to the report that was sent to the magic council." Storm said as he played with his water and ice magic. He's always been fascinated with it. My father told me not to use mine in front of others seeing as it was rare and quite dangerous said that only my mother could teach me to use it properly.
"Okay. Let's look for incident reports similar to that of our own. There has to be some description of him somewhere! That magic may be rare but it always leaves a trace." It was what my great grandfather said to my father apparently when he was on the verge of losing his sanity.
"Let me look Lucius. My father wouldn't suspect me whereas yours might." I nodded as Nashi went over to her dimwitted father. I went over to my uncle who was again sulking.
"Uncle Luke?" He jumped up but turned to me and sighed.
"Jeez kid! Don't scare me like that." He ruffled my hair as I sat next to him my all to unnatural eyes full of sadness.
"What was aunt Cana like?" He stopped right there a tear slipping down his face at the words.
"She was an amazing woman she was. Heaviest drinker here! All the same she was kind with a real passion in her eyes when it came to her friends and family. When it came to our love those six years ago I was the happiest i'd ever been! She's quite an amazing woman." He was looking towards the bar that Lisanna ran. "Just like Mira, Juvia, Levy, and your mother. The others he took as well. Everyone in Fairy Tail loves those girls. To bad we lost them so soon." I sighed.
"I wish I could've met her..." I whispered looking at the picture I had taken out of the album.
"Where'd you get that!" He whisper yelled.
"It was floating around in the old wreckage." I'm a perfect liar. "I knew this was dad so I suspected that this might be my mom." I smiled at hit and held it close to my heart. "At least I have some part of her with me." He smiled realizing that I finally felt whole.
"My sister was a very talented wizard! She could beat everyone here in a fight! Including me as well as the old master." My eyes lit up as I sat down. "Let me tell you about the job she took where she slew a pack of nasty wyverns."
"I'm all ears for it uncle Luke!"
Anything to make me feel like my mother was with me!
