I sat here in this hospital bed in the year 2017x smiling at this ceiling as I was hooked up to machines crying yet smiling. It had been hundreds and hundreds of years but I still am the same Lucy Heartfilia who fought death and married the love of her life only to have it slip through her fingers when her lover aged and she did not. I watched everyone from FairyTail pass and my own children died before me and that? That was the worst thing ever to feel inside. My descendants sat her holding my hand each living their own lives with the plethora of magic that was around causing magic tools of amazing proportions to rise.

"Well nothings wrong she's just getting old I mean we can-." I put my hand up knowing they would say give her small shots of magic to reduce her aging. My family looked at me confused though I smiled at them causing them to shake their heads.

"It's time." They began to tear. My friend's descendants were here too. They loved hearing stories about their family. Each had a special connection to me. As I took a shaky breath I took my youngest descendants, Lila's, hand and looked her in her eyes. "I'll still be with you but it's just time."

"B-But Grandma." There were so many greats that I just had them call me Grandma. "You can't go! H-How am I supposed to handle this power?" She was my successor of my magic and when I choose her? I started to age again.

"Lila. You will grow strong and wonderfully just like the generations I watched before you. Magic is based on your friends and family. This group? They will help you flourish and keep the Fairy Tail schools and guilds name. I founded that school for you and kept Master Mavis' guild up so you could go out there and discover your purpose. Do not think I will not be there for you every moment. Time took it takes sweetie. Now it's time I go to see my sons and daughters, my friends and their children, and my husband whom I miss oh so dearly." They all were wailing even the doctor hung his head. "Remember sweetie that death is never the end. It's just a heavenly new beginning where no one feels pain. You're so much like Lucius my dear. Stubborn, brave, kind, special. Be proud to be a Dreyar my dear like everyone else here should be proud to be a Fernandez or Dragneel or Macao or Fullbuster. They were amazing people. I trust you to lead this world to better things where I can no longer find refuge. My dear children, my friend's children, my rival's children. Be brave, strong, and courageous. Do not let your world be poisoned by my passing or by lies. Be proud members of each guild you're from. I promise you that I will look at you from above and give you luck. I-." Pain shot through my chest as I clutched my heart squinting my eyes closed. "I love you all, but it's time I go. They're calling me can't you see?" Each of them was crying tears of sorrow. My body started to glow and body dissipate.

"Grandma! Please don't go!" At that point, my body reformed to the Lucy Heartfilia of hundreds of years ago causing them to cry louder. "GRANDMA!" My body was gone the little orbs showing the FairyTail sign one more time before going off to Lila caressing her cheek and the other two of her brothers.

"Take care of her boys. Be the best brothers you can Killian and Kasey." They nodded with tears in their eyes.

"Grandma! Please!" Smiling I made the sign Laxus made causing their eyes to widen and give me the same sign back. With that, I disappeared into the sky my tears coming in waves as my spirits all showed there to waving me off in sorrow while Lila clutched them to her chest.

The End for Lucy but the beginning for Lila Dreyar.

I opened my eyes sitting up in a field of wheat where a bell tolled in the distance showing the old town that I knew of Magnolia. Tears welled up in my eyes as I stood up looking at the sky and taking in the old smells and the new ones.

Calmly I walked down the path leading to the town seeing my group standing there looking at me as I stood there little ways away tilting my head smiling.

"Hey, guys." They were crying as they ran towards me and tackled me in a big hug causing me to smile and cry back with them.

"Luce!" Natsu shouted. "Lulu!" Levy shouted. "Lucy-sama!" Juvia shouted. "Lucy!" Erza, Grey, Wendy, and the exceeds shouted.

After all that hugging I felt the familiar auras of my family. I had in that life six childeren including Layla and Lucius all of whom stood there with Laxus in the middle. A smile grew onto my face as the guild smirked and parted ways where I got a clear view of my crying and smiling children as well as husband. I put my hands to my mouth letting the tears fall before letting out a breath and running straight into Laxus' arms where for once I felt safe and warm.

"Hello Blondie." He said stroking my hair.

"Hey Sparkplug." Looking at him I wasn't even shocked when he pressed his lips to my own smiling aginst my own only seperating when we realized the whole guild was there being all pervy as well as our children. Once more I looked at them all.

"FairyTail," They were all in front of me laughing as I laughed though it was also mixed with a cry. "I'm Home!"

And they all lived their lives there peacefully.

Well not really!

Flame Brain plus Ice Princess equals fight!

But all was good and the people in the living world? They strived for better things for years to come.
