The train ride made Nashi very nauseous as Storm let her lean on his shoulder. They look so cute together though that is not something I will disclose to anyone as I am afraid that I might lose my manliness! Stupid Elfman is rubbing off on me! There is nothing wrong with that is there? I mean without him the guild would be a laughing stock right now though my Father, Natsu, and Gray also played a hand in keeping it together which by far was the best thing in history. No one wanted to see Fairy Tail fall apart like those six years ago and once we get them back I think that they might heal a little bit who am I kidding they'll be ecstatic! Especially my father who still stares at her apparently old apartment hoping she'll come back one day. He'll also have to accept that we're awesome for kids!
"Okay. So the castle is pretty big but since it's all ruins my guess is they'll be in the underground vault. It's a good storing place. Reinforced with a good magic spell plus there no one could find him unless they were magicians! Our best bet when we get there is that place so that's where we should head if you ask me." We all exchanged a swift nod before getting off the train and heading towards the ruins which were all dusty and cracked with age. The old roads were covered in brown muck with the cobblestone cracked and sunken into the soot and silt under the once carefully placed stone.
Building that were once tall and merry with age were now broken and shattered their wooden beams scattered around the old homes and shops. There was not a single soul, not an appealing sight nor sound! There was only the emptiness that was the once proud capital. How someone could live with that fact is such a painful thought. Letting everything go because there is nothing to be done.
"This place is really broken isn't it?" said Nashi as she let what looked like sand and gravel slip through her hands and onto the ground. "I wonder what happened. There was obviously something big going on if there is this much destruction cramping up the old space." She picked up an old rag doll smoothing out the crinkles in its all too dirty dress.
"Well the history says something along the lines of there being a great war which caused the people as well as the king and his family to flee and make a new capital elsewhere. No one really knows the reason anymore considering it was an occurrence in the past few decades. Only the king would know now and he's on death's bed as we would so kindly put it." Javette said using some of her magic to move the rubble away from a staircase that led into the deepness that was an underground passage. We all smirked happy to be one step closer to our goal that was until a loud crack of thunder stopped us dead in out tracks as we entered the cavern.
"Lucius Makarov Dreyar!" I gulped as my father's voice boomed but I was too busy looking at the room which above was full of stone statues some with the mark of Sabertooth some with Lamia Scale and others with Lamia Scale, but what got me most were the Fairy Tail marks. Our parents stepped in talking sternly as we just stared ahead at a man with blood red hair and green eyes. I lifted a shaky hand and pointed at him causing my father's head to snap to where a man was leaning on the pillar laughing.
"THAT'S HIM! THE GUY WHO TURNED CANA TO STONE!" Luke shouted as he summoned a sword in his hands rage filling his eyes. "Bastard! WHERE ARE THEY?!" He just smirked like a lunatic as they all got into a battle stance my father had the most angered face i'd ever seen in my life and the thing is everyone knew it. Luke charged and nipped a charm off of his bracelet causing him to pale as the key like charm shattered to the ground. A gulp filled his throat as he quickly started to attack back. Why was he so worried? There was nothing to be worried about was there?
Lucy
Cold. One word could describe how I feel. Cold. There was noise around me. It's to quiet but it's getting louder and louder.Where am I? It was a frequent question i'd asked myself when we arrived here. Where was here? Same question just with a different meaning behind it. Confusing I know.
"Dad! What's going on?!" I headed towards the light that was an image of a boy and some others fighting off our captor. I banged against the image hearing something crack over and over as I banged more and more till the vision was cracked so badly I was surprised it didn't break.
"Lucius! Stay back okay!" My heart was racing as I heard that name. I want out. With one more his the vision cracked as a light filled my vision. Everyone fell back as the light blinded them I took one step letting my armor clank before smashing the person who was hurting my family into the nearest wall by his neck. He clawed as the light blinded him more.
"Hello Jonah. I believe we have a score to settle." In an instant as soon as the light faded and my voice spoke Laxus spun around seeing me in my all to fiiine glory. "Now be a good boy and hand me the charms." He kicked my ribs and I winced not before slamming his skull to the ground. "Do I need to take them by force? I've learned all your tricks as a stone statue watching as you turned more people into stone. Hand. Them. Over." He growled and tried to use his magic at which point I cut off the hand that held the charms taking the hundreds in my hand.
"Lucy..." I turned my head to see Laxus. A tear slipped from my eyes as I hoped it wasn't a dream. I stood up ignoring the cursing of Jonah's pain. He was right here. Right in front of me.
"Laxus!" I ran into his arms as he wrapped them around me instantly sobbing like I did to him as I realized I wasn't dreaming. I pulled the little kid to me to and hugged him while Laxus was holding me by my waist. "My baby boy. You aren't so little anymore." There were tears in his eyes as he clung to me.
"Mommy!" Storm and Javette smiled with Nashi.
"I need you two to let go for a minute." Laxus growled and even Lucius did. "Boys! Laxus do I need to remind you that one I can easily get out of your grip and two that if you don't I won't let you touch me again." I smirked devilishly as he gave me a look that made everyone else cower.
"Come on Lucius. Let's see what's so important." I stood up and stood in front of the statues using my hell fire to burn every single charm to a crisp.
"Close your eyes if you want to keep them!" I yelled making them all shut their eyes as beams of light shot off everywhere. After a good minute is faded and there in all their once beautiful glory were the kidnapped girls from the guilds. "ERZA! JUVIA! LEVY! EVER! MIRA! CANA! GET DOWN HERE NOW BEFORE I-!" I was tackled in a hug by the girls before I could even finish the words letting out a groan as I hit the ground.
"Thank you Lucy!" Levy said before immediately being picked up and kissed by her boyfriend who she immediately kissed back. Jellal practically tackled Erza! Elfman just sobbed and sobbed as he held Ever close to him making her blush whereas Mira was sitting calmly chatting with a near breaking down Freed! Cana and Luke were making out like it was their last day to live while I just sat smiling stroking my son's hair as he stayed attached to me.
"I hope you know that you're stuck with me after this." Laxus whispered in my ear making me laugh and lean back into his body.
"I know."
Finally i'm home!
