Blueberry Space Waffles

Depa's battalion landed on Kaller. Two young clones, CT-2277, aka Cass, and CT-0628, or Rayn were talking quietly.
They were some of the newer recruits to the group, but also two of the strangest clones. They were constantly talking about random things that none of the other clones could ever figure out.
Cass was actually a pretty good strategist and artistic; Rayn was always writing. They always seemed to know something no one else knew. They had even requested to work with Depa.
"You don't think we did it too soon did we?" Rayn asked Cass.
"I hope not. We finally found someone else who knew about it, and wanted to remove it." Cass replied shoving his friend. "Why you're head still hurt?"
"I never said that. Actually isn't this the place? They are both here and from what we read this is the planet it's supposed to happen to them on." Rayn replied shoving Cass back.
"Shhh, i believe so. We're not supposed to know that though. Just stick to my plan and we can get Blueberry a more confident master. No one can know about that button." Cass answered.
"So we're actually saving Depa?"
"Well I am. You are supposed to be covering Kanan's escape. We just got to get Gregor to help us."
"Didn't Kanan do just fine without our help?" Rayn asked.
"Yes, but Blueberry and Kanan are a perfect match. Kanan just needs to be more self confident about training him." Cass replied.

It had happened. They had gotten the order that they had been dreading. Now it was time to put Plan Blueberry Space Waffles into place.
Cass lowered her blaster as she switched it from kill to stun. He watched as the two Jedi fought for their lives.
Depa's eyes meet his for a brief moment. Cass takes a deep breath and Depa nods. Cass turned to Rayn and gave him a single to cover someone.
"Caleb, run. I'll be right behind you." Depa told her padawan. Caleb hesitated but listened.
Rayn elbowed Gregor. "Come on we have to cover his escape." He whispered to the other Clone. The shot out some stun at the padawan, but purposely missed.
Rayn noticed when Caleb hid and pulled Gregor back.
"Styles, Gregor and I will double back and check the woods for the kid in case he's hiding." He told their captain.
As the rest of the clones went after Caleb, Cass and Grey stayed behind with Depa. Cass had shot Depa with a stun, but Grey was convinced it was a normal blast.
Cass bent down to check for a pulse. He was relieved to find one.
"She's dead." Cass told Grey as he got up. "I'll take the body back to the ship as prof of the kill."
"Good thinking. I'm going after that kid. Something tells me he's more trouble than I thought." Grey said. "I'll see you back on the ship."
"Yes commander." Cass replied pulling Depa's body onto a transport.
Once Grey was out of sight he looked down at the Jedi general. "Don't worry, your padawan will be fine. Even without my friends and my help he'd survive. This rescue mission is to save you." Cass told the Jedi master. Now that they were on a ship they only had to wait on Gregor or Rayn to get onboard. Cass planed to get the three on board an escape pod while the other two got a ship to pick them up. Problem was Cass didn't know which one was going to join her, and which was faking his death to stay with Caleb.
Depa started to stir. Cass grabbed his comm. He switched it to a private frequently.
"Rayn please tell me Caleb/Kanan is safe. Depa is starting to wake up. I need to get us to an escape pod." He said.
"Gregor and him escaped. I reported their deaths and have Caleb's lightsaber to prove it. I'll be there soon." Rayn replied.
"I was hoping you'd send Gregor to meet me on the escape pod. Oh well guess our plan is in Caleb's hands." Cass replied.
"Why? What's wrong with Gregor?" Depa asked now fully awake.
"It's better that you don't know. Come on we have to get you to an escape pod. The command ship will blow as soon as Rayn gets to us. We have to launch immediately, and hope Caleb and Gregor can retrieve us before anyone figures out were missing." Cass explained.

Rayn boarded the escape pod. They took off.
"So how'd you convince him that you and Gregor were on his side?" Cass asked.
"Oh I showed him our scars and told him we had our chips removed unlike those other mindless killer zombies." Rayn replied.
"That work?" Cass questioned.
"Nope then I said 'Search the force Caleb. You know what I'm saying is true.'" the other Clone replied.
Cass face palmed and laughed. "You are trying to convince him you're on his side; not that you're his father."
Depa looked at them like they were crazy.
"Hey, it worked didn't it?" Rayn snapped back.
"I guess. Let's just hope the plan works." he replied.

An hour had passed as the three floated in space.
"Ok, I think I made a mistake sending Gregor with the boy. They are probably light years away already." Rayn admitted.
"You think. Luckily I planned around this. Depa your comm is directly linked to Caleb's right?" Cass replied.
"It is. It also reaches a farther distance." Depa replied.
"Can you comm him and tell him to pick us up at our current coordinates? I'm sure he'll listen to you over us." Cass asked.
"Sure." Depa replied and made the comm. "what happens after that?"
"Rayn and I know a planet with a couple that can hide you and Caleb for a while. Once we all get there we'll go our separate ways. Gregor will go stay with some friends of his. Rayn and I have to go join the others of our group." Cass said.

It worked. Once Caleb and his friend picked them up Cass handed him a piece of paper with some names and coordinates of a planet.
"Head there. There's someone special there that will need your help one day. This family will help you and your master hide until then."
"What about the clones that are still looking for us?" Caleb asked.
"Rayn and I reported you both as dead. They think you killed Gregor, and Rayn and I died when the command ship explosion. They won't be looking for us anytime soon." Cass answered.
"Thanks for the help." Depa said to the three clones.
"It's what we were here for." Rayn replied.
"How can we ever repay you?" Caleb asked.
"You don't need to. Just look after Blueberry ok?" Cass replied.
"Blueberry?" Depa and Caleb asked.
"It's a nickname for someone. You'll figure it out soon enough." both Cass and Rayn explained.
"Kashmir, can you drop us off at the next spaceport?" Rayn asked.
"Sure." The Kalleran replied.
"Mission accomplished." Cass said looking at Rayn. He then whispered "now Kanan will have more experience to train Blueberry; Blueberry won't have to live on the streets, and we'll get a more confident Ghost crew."
"Only if Kanan and Ezra run into Hera and the others." Rayn whispered back.
"They will. Family has a way of coming together." Cass said.

• ok so before I can continue I should probably explain these two clones. This all started when I found a game online called "Would you press the button?" The scenario was that you could live in the Star Wars universe, but you had to be a clone. Cass is of course the Clone version of me. Rayn is a friend who I'm not naming but she who she is.
