Bad Intentions~Dansby Swanson

Chapter 10

MAY 30TH, 2017 

Dansby came home to Georgia last night and since he's been home, he's been calling me nonstop trying to come and see me, but I don't want to see him, what he did to me hurt me. He actually told me he's going to the game today and then flying out to New Jersey for the draft. 

I'm now secretly hoping that he doesn't get drafted by the Braves because I wouldn't have to see him ever again. Yes, I still love Dansby with every fiber of my being, but he can't take back what he did to me and he'll never be able to make up for it. 

Freddie and I on the other hand, are good. Like really good. I don't think I've ever had this much sex with a guy before and have it been that good. Like when I come home from a game, I crave Freddie. I never had that with Dansby and it's fun. 

"Babe, time to get up." Freddie says shaking me awake. I groaned and rolled into his arms. "What time is it?" I mumbled into his chest as he rubbed my back. "7, but it's a day game so we have the rest of the day to ourselves after." He said said kissing my forehead. 

We've been switching back and forth of whose apartment we stayed at, we're currently at mine. I sat up and rubbed my eyes and got out of bed. I was limping thanks to Freddie from last night. "You're limping." He said and I could feel the smirk on his face from behind me. 

"Well maybe someone should be a little careful next time!" I yelled from the bathroom as I turned the shower on and stepped in. "Mind if I join you?" Freddie asked from behind me as he wrapped his arms around me. 

"Well you're already in here, so that answers your question." I said with a laugh. Needless to say, we didn't shower at first. 

Once we got out, I got ready for the game. (outfit in media) I prayed to the gods that I wouldn't see Dansby today, but knowing him, he'll find his way to me. I drove with Freddie to the park today and I went into my office as soon as we got there to read some emails. 

Freddie popped his head into my office and whistled at me. "Damn, girl you finish those emails." He said and I laughed. "What do you want Freeman?" I asked looking at him. "Well one, I didn't tell you that you're beautiful this morning and two, come watch BP." He said. 

I sighed and close out of my email and got up and grabbed my sunglasses and phone. "Fine Freeman, but if anyone makes fun of the two of us, I'm coming back in here." I said and he laughed and threw an arm around my shoulder. 

"I won't let that happen." He said kissing my forehead. "Well well well, look who decided to join us today!" Julio said as Freddie and I walked up tho them. "Yeah, Freddie brought me out of my cave down there." I said and they laughed and I watched BP and damn the guys were looking good. 

I searched the people in the crowds and my eyes landed on Dansby. He was looking around for me too and then he spotted me. I could see that his eyes were sad but then when he saw me the lit up. 

"Whatcha looking at there babe?" Freddie said coming over to me after he took BP. "Dansby is here." I said and he followed my gaze over to where Dansby was he looked like he was fuming when he saw Freddie with me. 

"Want me to whoop him into shape?" He said and I laughed and looked up at him. "No you don't need to do that, but I am going to talk to him." I said and he smiled and kissed my forehead. "Don't get back with him." He said and I smiled. 

"I won't Freddie." I said as I was walking over to Dansby. "Daniella." He said, it came out more of like a sigh. "Dansby. What do you want?" I said, yeah I was being a little hostile towards him, but what girl wouldn't after their boyfriend cheats on them? 

"I wanted to talk to you. I want you back, I knew I was wrong to do that to you. I wasn't thinking. I was being a horny 21 year old in college. I forgot what my morals were with you. I need you back Daniella please." He voice was breaking and I really didn't want to make a scene in public. Especially at my work. 

"Dansby, what you did really hurt me. My parents were right, you were no good for me, maybe down the road I'll forgive you, but not any time soon. I'm sorry but what you did killed me and even after you gave me a ring, why Dansby?" I asked. 

"I don't know okay? I know I fucked up alright. I wish I could take it back." He said and I opened my mouth to talk. "Daniella!" Freddie yelled to me waving me over to the guys. "Look the guys are done with BP, I have to get back to work." I said and he nodded. 

"I'll always love you Daniella, remember that." He said. "I'll always love you too Dansby, but it's over." I said walking away from him. Freddie kissed my forehead. "You just love showing me off don't you?" I asked him. 

"You're so beautiful, it's hard not to show you off babe." He said as we walked back down the tunnels. "How did everything go?" He asked dropping me off at my office and I told him everything. "Babe, I know how hard this is for you and I'll be here for you through it all okay?" He said and I nodded. 

He gave me a sweet and compassionate kiss before going off and getting ready for the game. Seeing Dansby again made me feel bad for what I'm doing with Freddie, but at the same time, seeing him again made me realize that Freddie is the best thing to happen to me right now.
