Chapter 5 - Soccer

I woke up in my bed, in the same clothes I had yesterday, when Jungkook and I were babysitting Ava.

I got up, and layed out my school uniform, along with some undergarments. I grabbed a towel, and I took a quick shower. When I got out, I put on my clothes. I didn't bother blow drying my hair, so I let it naturally dry.

Once I got downstairs, I saw that my mom had made pancakes for us. "Morning, mom." I said.

"Morning." She sat on one of the stools and starting eating her plate.

The pancakes were topped with butter and maple syrup, and had strawberries on the side.

"By the way," I started saying. "I remember falling asleep at Ava's house. How did I end up waking up her?"

She looked up from her pancakes. "Jungkook brought you back here. Jungkook actually stayed here, until I got back from work."

"Oh." I didn't know what to say. Why did Jungkook only go home, after my mom got back?

After I finished my pancakes, I got my bag and headed to school. It wasn't that far anyways.

"Hey, Violet." I smiled and sat down next to her, in our acting class.

"Good morning." She was so focused on her book, that she didn't even look up.

For some reason, I saw Jungkook and Taehyung enter the classroom. I leaned over to Violet. "Jungkook and Taehyung are in this class?" I asked.

"Yeah. They just never come because they're always in the music room. Today though, the music room is closed, so they actually showed up." She replied.

Jungkook and Taehyung sit right behind Violet and I. I could feel Jungkook's eyes staring at the back of my head.

Ms.Callaghan finally walked into the classroom, after a while. "Sorry I'm late class, I had to pick up some things. Anyways, even though we already have a project going along, we are starting another one." The class groaned. "You will get into groups of 4 and will act in a play with the theme, of my choosing."

I looked towards Violet. "Hey, let's partner up again." She agreed by nodding.

Jungkook walked over to the side of my desk. "Not so fast. Violet is in Taehyung and I's group."

Violet finally put her book down. "Relax guys. We can all be one group." She suggested.

"Fine." Jungkook and I said in unison. I crossed my arms and turned my back to him.

Ms.Callaghan walked over to us. "So, is this your group?" We nodded, and she starting writing down on her paper. "Jungkook, Mae, Violet, and Taehyung."

"So what's our theme?" Asked Taehyung.

She finished writing on her paper. "Okay, your group's theme is... Fairytales." After she said that, she left.

My eyes filled with happiness. "I love fairy tales. Ooh, can we do Snow White? I can be the evil queen, and Jungkook can be Snow White."

Everyone was silent. "That would be a great idea. Except for the fact that it isn't one." Said Jungkook.

"How about Beauty and the Beast? It's one of my favourite fairy tales." Violet suggested. "Jungkook, you can be the beast. And Mae, I'm guessing that you already know what character you're playing."

I smiled. "Great! I've always wanted to be Gaston."

Violet sighed. "No, Mae. You're going to play Belle." She said.
