After everyone left, I let Jungkook take a shower in my penthouse, so that he wouldn't have to stay in a shirt that stuck firmly to his chest because of the juice that I spilled on his shirt earlier.
I gave him one of the white shirts that Violet have given me, considering that they are quite oversized. I also changed into one of them, because they were quite cozy.
While Jungkook was busy showering, I walked out onto the balcony to get some air.
When he was done, he also came out onto the balcony. His hair was wet, and his towel was around his neck. He leaned against the railing, and he turned his head towards me.
"I see that you've set up the telescope." He said.
I looked past him where the black telescope was. "Yeah. Jay helped me set it up, since I'm not very good at those type of things."
"Oh him. The guy who you were hanging out with, the whole time at your party, even though there were other guests? Who is he anyways?" He asked me.
I smiled at serious he was over this matter. "He's just the first person that I met when I moved here. He lives down the hall."
He nodded, although he didn't seem very interested in what I was saying. "You know, that I did give you that telescope because you told me that you wanted to see the stars again. I hope that you got your wish."
I looked down at the ground. "Actually, that wish didn't come true. It seems like you misheard me. I actually told you that I wanted to see the stars again... with you."
He widened his eyes at my words. He took my arm and dragged me back inside.
"What are we doing?"
He smiled at me. "Let's recreate your birthday that we celebrated together, three years ago." He sat me down on the couch, while he went to the kitchen to get some things.
When he came back, he had a cupcake with blue frosting on it, and a candle. He inserted the candle into the cupcake and he took a lighter out of his pocket, to light the candle. The candle was the only light source, aside from the moon, because I had closed all of lights in the penthouse.
I smiled at his gestures. "Seeing as you have a candle, I'm guessing that you planned this all along. You know... unless you were trying to get revenge on me for not contacting you these past years."
"There's something missing." He told me. He took his finger, and sliced some icing onto it, and then he placed the icing on my nose. "There. Now everything is perfect. I remember that you were covered in icing the last time."
I laughed. "Thank you Jungkook. I really appreciate all of this."
"No need to thank me. Today is your day. Now, make a wish."
I leaned forward to make a wish, and to blow out the candle. I closed my eyes, and thought of the first thing that came to my head.
I wish that everyone can be happy from now on.
With a blow of my breath, all of the light in the room was gone.
~*~*~
I was walking to the Big Hit Entertainment building, waiting for Jimin, so that we can go out for coffee, and just catch up on what's happened. As soon as I made it to the front of the building,, I saw someone that I didn't expect, walking out of the front doors. Tianna.
I don't think that she saw me, seeing as she didn't even look my way. I watched her as she walked off into one of the cabs.
I felt two hands on my shoulders, and I turned to find Jimin, who was already out. "Hey. Sorry for taking so long. I had to change out of my dance attire."
"Oh that's fine. Umm, hey Jimin. Can I ask you something? Why was Tianna Song over here? I thought that she was at a different entertainment company." I asked him.
"Oh, right. Tianna's company and ours, wanted to do a collaboration together. So of course, they would choose the rising star of their company. She could have chosen any one of us, but she chose Jungkook. They've been practicing ever since she asked him. That little brat. He's always getting all of the girls. Well, it's not like I'm complaining." He told me.
"So I guess that, that means that the two of them will be spending a lot of time together from now on."
"Yeah..." Jimin looked at me with a sorry look on his face.
"I'm fine Jimin. I already knew since my birthday last week, that our relationship couldn't be renewed." That was a total lie. Last week, I almost thought that things could go back to the way they were before.
But just like before, I'm always too late.
