Chapter 6 - Beauty And The Beast

It feels like time passed by so quick. And, nothing has changed... NOTHING AT ALL.

Jungkook and Jimin still don't like each other, which I have yet to find out what the reasoning was. Violet and I are... Actually, I don't even know what we are.

You might be wondering who won at the soccer showdown between Jungkook and Jimin. Jungkook actually won. Then again, I kind of knew from the start because Jungkook literally wins at everything.

Anyways, I'm so excited because our acting group is presenting our play today. Tonight, parents and students will come to the school to watch our play, of Beauty and the Beast.

I was at my locker organizing the inside, when Violet walked up to me. "Hey Mae, you don't have to worry about what you're wearing tonight. I got my personal designer to make us the costumes."

"Oh thank god. I thought that I was going to be showing up in a T-shirt and a pair of jeans." I told her.

She looked out the window at the end of the hallway. "You know, there's a lot of snow. I wonder if anything is going to happen tonight."

"Oh. Well, Winter Break is in like, three days. Speaking of the break, is your family doing anything special?" I asked her.

Violet looked at me, confusingly. "Your mom didn't tell you?" I shook my head. "Oh, well you guys are going to be staying with us, when we go to. Our vacation house." She told me.

"What? Oh my gosh, this is so exciting." I started jumping up and down like a maniac. I didn't even care about the students who walked by us.

But, that wasn't the only thing that made me excited. Violet started laughing along with me.

"Hey, you laughed." I pointed out.

"Yeah. And?" She still kept the grin on her face.

"I've never seen you like this before. So happy!" I told her.

"Yeah. I rarely smile in front of people. Nevermind laughing in front of a person." She said.

"I don't know. It's just really weird. In a good way."

"Okay, I'll stop." The smile vanished from her face.

"Wait no. Keep it. You looked so happy." I told her.

"No." She simply said.

"Please??" I begged.

"No." She said, yet again. I frowned at her. "Come on, let's go. We need to get ready for tonight." She told me.

"Okay!" I followed her.

I was finally done getting dressed. The play started in just about over half an hour. I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said, while I was sitting in one of those dressing room chairs.

The person came in. Turned out that it was Violet.

I got off the chair. "Hey, what do you think?" I asked her.

She smiled. "You look pretty."

"Aha! I made you smile. And also, thank you." I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Come on, let's go check on the guys." She suggested. I nodded and followed her out the dressing room.

We found them sitting and on their phones.

Violet sighed. "GUYS!!" She yelled. That got their attention. Jungkook's eyes went straight to mine.

"Wow, you look really pretty." Taehyung commented, which made me smile.
