I set the flour on top of the counter. I got all of the mixing bowls out, and also all of the ingredients. I put on my pink baking apron that my mom gave to me a while back. I never got to use it, because she always told me no to bake, when she wasn't around, just to make sure that I didn't burn down the house. But tomorrow, it's going to be a special occasion, so my mother let me bake.
"Violet! I'm ready to start!" I yelled. Of course, my mother wouldn't really let me bake in the house alone. So she had to call in Violet, to supervise me.
"What do you want me to do? I'm just supposed to supervise you." She reminded me.
"Oh come on. Don't give me that attitude. You won't be here tomorrow for my birthday. This is the last day that I get to spend with you, until next week. We have to do something."
She got out something from her back. "Oh yeah. This is my birthday present for you."
My eyes widened in happiness. "Wow. Thank you, Violet." I quickly untied the pink lacing, and opened the big box. "White T-shirts? I've always wanted these. Thank you so much!" I gave her a huge hug.
"Your welcome. Just, don't tell Jungkook. He really wanted white t-shirts for his birthday, but I didn't get them for him. He seemed really happy with what I did give him, though. Timberlands." She told me.
I giggled. "Okay. I won't tell." I put the box over to the side. "So, will you help me bake these cupcakes, or not?" I threw a purple apron at her.
She sighed, and tied that apron on her. "Okay fine."

I ran up to Jimin, in the hallway. "Jimin. You're coming to my house today, for my birthday, right?" I asked him.
"Of course." He answered. "I wouldn't miss it."
Taehyung walked up to us, and I also asked him. "What about you, Tae? Are you going to come over today?"
He shook his head. "I'm sorry. But, no. I wish that I could though. Some of our relatives are visiting, and I won't have enough time to come over."
"Is Jungkook coming?" Jimin asked me.
I nodded at him. "He told me, that he would. But I haven't seen him all day. He hasn't even answered any of my texts. Then again, he's always busy."
"Oh yeah. Here is your present." Jimin handed me a gift bag.
I opened the bag, and took the thing that was inside, out. It was a knitted ivory scarf. It felt really soft. I could tell that he had worked on this for a very long amount of time.

I sat at home, on my window seat. I was waiting for Jimin and Jungkook to arrive. Suddenly, my phone rang. I looked at the caller name, and I saw Jimin's name. I wonder what he's calling about.
"Hello?" I answered. "Jimin? What's up?"
He sneezed. "I'm sorry Mae. But, I won't be able to make it. I got a fever. I would still come, but I don't want you to get a fever too." He told me, and then he sneezed again.
"It's okay, Jimin. Jungkook is still going to come." At least, I hope that he's going to. I still haven't had any contact with him today. I wonder if something's wrong. I sent him at least twenty messages today, and he didn't reply to any of them. He hasn't even seen any of them.
I was interrupted by my thoughts when Jimin sneezed... again. "I have to go now, Mae. It's really hard to talk in this condition."
"Okay, bye." I hung up.
