Rathi P.O.V

Love is a powerful weapon. I never thought that i will love someone this much. Still 5 more days to go for my birthday. I bought new saree in red colour because A.K likes red colour😊. On my birthday i need to propose him😍. How will i do that? I think i must close my eyes and tell him. If i see his eyes my words will sink. Whenever he is near me i am losing my sense. The first sign of falling in love is smiling to ourself😊. Whenever his face flashes in my mind i am forgetting the reality. I don't know what he likes. Then i remembered that in today's news paper i saw his photo. Then i checked it. In front page his photo was there. He was awarded for his bravery. In that interview he said he loves shooting. His aim never missed. Like my thalapathy.😉 I smiled  to myself. If he likes shooting then i will  also learn it to impress him. By thinking this i dialled my friend's​ number "Hello shanthi." Shanthi is my school mate her father is a police officer. After her father's death she got that job. She is a very good shooter. "Yes rathi. Tell me." " How are you shanthi?" " Am fine rathi. You?" " Am super dear." " Tell me rathi any important news? Are you getting married?" " No no. Hmm. Actually.. i need some help." " What rathi is anyone blackmailing you?" " No no. Will you?.." " what you? Tell me rathi." " Shanthi will you teach me shooting?" "What??" She screamed in phone. " Dont shout shanthi i will become deaf." Suddenly she started to laugh. "Oh rathi you remember? In our childhood days during deepavali holidays i will burst crackers like atom bomb etc.. But what you will do? Just hide yourself inside 3 bed sheets in your bedroom. Now you are telling that you need to learn shooting? Also you have nerver used even a toy gun." "Ok ok. I know. Will you teach me or not?" "Ok come i will teach you. Before that tell me the reason for learning this?" "Actually it is for.. for my dad" " Dad?" " Yes he want me to become a police officer but i became a doctor like my mom. So if i learn shooting he will be happy right?" I think i am a good lier. "I don't think this is true. Its ok let me find the reason." She said. "Believe me shanthi its true." "Ok rathi i will message you the place, where you must come. Bye."  I hanged up the phone. "Phew Mr Arnold kumar i dont how much lies i am going to tell for you." I said to myself and i started from hospital to home. At evening 4 i got message for shanthi it is an address. I drove my car to that place. I can hear bullet firing sound, which is tearing my ear drums. There are many girls learning shooting. I smiled to myself. I am sure that i will also shoot like them one day. "Rathi come on you need to know some basic rules to handle a gun." She took me to a  place there i saw on room inside that some men are there. I was waiting out side. Shanthi went inside the room. I cant see their face  so i was simply sitting outside. Then she came out and took me to a place where the staters will be. In that place no one was there. "Look rathi take this gun." She gave me one gun. "Its heavy." " Yes it will be heavy. If you practise it will be easy." "Shanthi in vijay movies vijay will have one gun right? i need like that. In theri movie." I said. "Rathi shut your mouth. That gun is fake. You don't know that?" "What?? How dare you  to say that my hero is using a fake gun? He is my hero." " Rathi is it so you can go and learn it from him." "Ok ok teach me." I said in irritated tone. "Better you close your mouth rathi. Then you can shoot well." She said. I was fuming. She took one gun and aimed the centre of the circle in a board placed on the opposite wall. When she fired the gun, that bullet teared the air and hit the board at the centre in milliseconds with a large sound. I was astonished. "Wow." I said. " He will do more than wow." She said. " Who?" I asked." "He is our hero. Many of us like him. He is hot u know." I gave her a confused look. I brushed off those thoughts "Ok let me try?" " Sure come on." I struggled a lot to hold it. I aimmed the circle while triggering i closed my eyes. I dont know where the bullet hit but am sure it will not hit the circle. "Rathi don't close your eyes. " "Am sorry i was.." Give i will show you once again." She again showed me another demo. I am sure it was more than a hour. My bullets are disappearing into thin air. She got angry. "Rathi i am fed up please leave the place. I don't have patience. You are fit for nothing." My eyes are filled with tears. "Please shanthi one try." "This is last rathi. I am having work." I nodded my head in yes. I lifted my gun. Mr A.K i will do anything for you. I closed my eyes and prayed narayana please help me. Suddenly i felt someone stood behind me and holded my hands tight and triggered the gun. The bullet came out from the gun at high speed and hit the centre of the circle. I shouted and jumped in joy. Without seeing the person behind me i jumped like a 3 year old kid. I turned and say thank you when i saw the person my mouth wide opened "A.K??"I screamed.  I saw shanthi she was so totally shocked i think so. He gave his sweet smile to me and turned to her and said "Miss Shanthi you are suspended for one month." My eyes widened.
