Chapter 11 (Annual day preps)

Next day at the rehearsal hall. Everyone gathers except kriya.. Rey is silent n thinking abt last night and wants to apologize to kriya for whateva he did while d rest of the gang is making plans for the annual day and swaron are stealling  glances.
Sh- guys kriya kaha hai? Its already 11 n woh time ki punctual hai na..
Sw- haa hai toh... N meri usse subah baat bhi hui thi n she said ki woh nikal gai thi...kaha reh gai...
Sh-*to herself in a slow voice but enough for swayum to hear* bhot phone calls ho rhe... Mujhe toh kabhi subah phone nhi kiya ki mein nikli ke nhi...dekh lungi isse!

Swayum smirks at her jealousy..
Sw- umm...rey teri koi baat hui thi kya usse?
Rey- huu..uhh...nhi meri koi baat nhi hui usse kal raat ke baad infact maine toh uske baare mein socha bhi nhi kal raat....
Nil- par swayum ne aisa kab pucha tumhe?
Vicky- haa swayum ne toh sirf itna hi pucha ko tujhe kuch pata hai kya....par tune toh...
Sw-*sensing the urge to save his friend*... Uhhh koi kriya ko call karona .. Ask her where is she...
Simmi- haa ek min i'll ask
Sh-*putting one hand on rey's shoulder* rey kya hua everything alright?
Rey- yaa everything is good... All good..yaa
Sh- mujhe bol rhe hai ho yaa khud ko...hmm?
Rey- woh sharon...
Sh- its k jab man kare tab batana
Rey- thnx...

Kriya enters..
Sw- are kriya where were u... Y so late?
Kr- sorry sorry guys woh actually mom ghar par nhi hai na soo its difficult to handle everything.. Isliye thoda late ho gaya.
Sh- ok.... So lets start.. Kriya vp sir tumhe kuch instructions diye honge na.. Woh bata do.
Kr- haa ek min maine sab note down kiya hai..*removes a book from her bag* haa sir ne responsibilities ki ek list
Di hai...
Sw- kriya hum responsibilities baat lete hai isse kaam aasaan ho jayega n confusion nhi hoga..
Kr- ok so pr and marketing sharon aap dekh loge?
Sh- yeah ok.
Sw- productions mein kar dunga..
Rey- haa n music and photography is my responsibility
Nil- caterring me and vicky.
Bh- Mike and sound mere aur bharat pe chod de.
Simmi- hum costumes and room allotments ka dekh lenge..
Kr- fine toh mein security dekh leti hu..
Sh- and choreography bhi..
Kr- nhi sharon choreography hum mil kar karenge yeh nyda ka nhi st louis ka event hai so hum sab karenge.
Sw- fair enough...par performances kitne hai?
Kr- sw participate karne vali 7 colleges hai n uss hissab se humara ek group dance and 3 duets hai. Toh woh kaun karega..
Nil- if u dnt mind mein n simmi ek kare?
Rey- haa ok ...n dusra swayum n sharon as always...
Swaron- ok!
Rinni- aur third?
Sw- rey aur Kriya...

Both rey and kriya look at each other as the words escape swayum's mouth n have an eyelock wch makes them remember all their past duets. The eyelock is soon broken by sharon.

Sh- ok so jab everything is decided lets start with work we only have 2 weeks guys. Common
Kr- ok so group rehearsals ke liye shaam ko milte hai n duets hum baadme decide kar lenge ok?
Vicky- ok so chale...
Nil- haa chal
Amar- bharat tu jaa mujhe canteen mein thoda sa kaam hai mein woh khatam kar k aata hi..
Bh- thik hai lekin banta jaldi aana ha...

Everyone leaves...

Location- outside fire escape

Kriya is walking past by the fire escape when a strong pair of hands pull her inside she knew who it was...it had to be him ofcourse nobody dare do that except him. He shut the door n stood in front of her with a confused expression.
Kr- rey kya baat hai aapne mujhe aise q bulaya....
Rey- woh kriya muje tumse kuch bat karni thi..
Kr- haa kahiye.
Rey- woh... Wohh
Kr- boliye na jaldi... Rey
Rey- woh mein tumse kal raat k liye maafi maangna chahta hu... Idk mujhe kya ho gaya tha.... N mein ne kya kar diya ..like ik mujhe aisa nahi karna chahiye tha bt pata nahi maine aisa q kiya mein bhi yahi wonder kar rha tha... Lekin pls Kriya mujhe maaf kardo , mera irrada tumhe awkward feel karvane ka nhi tha.. Ik tumhe bura laga hoga lekin pls kriya mujhe pls maaf kar do....
Kriya puts his hand on his mouth...hhll n kr tune(pls imagine it )
She smiles at his cute behaviour
Kr- kitna bolte ho rey... Aaram se bolo na...nai ek min ab kuch mat bolo aapne jo bolna tha bol liya an meri baari.

Rey's gaze straight in her eyes while she gives him stern looks wch frightens him...to wch she laughs.
Rey- tum has q rhi ho... Iska matlab tumne mujhe maaf kardiya?
Kr- ofc rey, I mean mein aapse naaraz q rahungi aapne toh mujhe compliment kiya tha... N its normal.
Rey- thank God Kriya.... I thought ki I may lose u .. N I dint want to lose my friend again..
Kr- u never did n u never will rey i promise.
Rey- I promise too.. Vaise tumhe bilkul bhi bura nhi laga?
Kr- nhi rey mujhe bilkul bhi bura nahi laga n waise bhi aadat thi New York mein toh aisa hota rehta hai..

Rey's face fell he felt torn when she said it was normal for her he tought he had some guy in her life..
Kr noticed the change n knew the reason behind it.. She den spoke up..
Kr- rey kya baat hai aapka chehra itna uttar q gaya hai?
Rey- nhi kuch nhi.....*after a long pause* kriya ek baat puchu?
Kr- nhi rey meri life mein aapke baad koi nhi tha  aur na hi hai...
Rey- tumhe kaise pata mein yeh puchne vala tha?
Kr- bas yunhi... Vaise q pucha? Aapko farak padta hai?
Rey- uhh...nhi mujhe q farak padega ga...nhi mujhe koi farak nhi padta..

Kriya smiles as she knows the truth..

Rey- vaise am I soo predictable?
Kr-nhi q?
Rey- nhi aajkal mere bole bina logo ko pata chal jaat hai ki wat I wanna say.. Pehle swayum n abb tum bhi..
Kriy gives a smirk
Kr- rey aapko sirf vahi log predict kar sakte hai jinka aapse koi strong connection ho.......

Rey went silent after her comment while she knew her work was done and she procedded to move she opened d door and den spoke..

Kr- aur unn logon ke saamne aap juth bhi nhi bol sakte...
Saying this she left Leaving rey in deep thoughts.
Rey knew what she meant by her last statement, she meant to comment when he said dat ki " mujhe koi farak nhi padta"

After a week-
Things were very normal bet #kriyaansh. The annual day preps were on fleek. Thier group dance was ready(same as d3 but instead of ashi simmi is der) all the duets were ready as well nimmi were performing on Dekha hazaroo daffa bollywood belly, swaron and kriyaansh(same as d3)

Everyone is busy with the arrangements Kriya and rey still have an eyelock sometimes while they rehearse.
There is only one week left for the annual day... Lets see if they can make it.
