CHAPTER 14

Kriya Run To The Fire escape and Rey follows her. When he reaches outside the fire escapes he hears her crying and blabbering to her self.... He auitly opens the the door of fire escapes and listens to what she says..
Kriya- (crying hard) q universe ji q, aap mere saath Aisa Kyun karte ho, Pehle Toh Aap Ne Rey aur Dance ko Mujhse Dur Kar Diya aur ab aap chahte ho ki mom bhi Mujhse Dur Chali Jaaye Aisa Kyun? Do saal k baad bhot mushkil se mujhe mere friends aur rey vapas mile hai n dance meri life mein phir aaya hai toh ab aap mom mujhse dur le jana chahte ho?
(Rey was in tears bynow he felt very guilty of leaving her when she needed him. He went forward and placed a hand on her shoulder)
Kr-rey aap!(quickly wiping her tears) aap yaha kaise?
Rey-woh I saw u coming towards here so mein bhi..... Tum kuch tension mein lag rhi ho kya baat hai?
Kr-koi baat nahi... Mein toh bas yunhi..
Rey-dekho kriya ive heard wat eva u were saying.. So please common now out with it.
(Kriya burst into tears to wch rey tried to paccify her and ask her if something was wrong when kriya handed over tye file to rey. Rey opened the file and den had a feared expression he closed it and said)
Rey-ohh so tumhe pata chal gaya?
Kr- pata chal gaya matlab aap jaante the?
Rey-haa
Kr-kaise?
Rey-uss din hospital mein....
Flashback***
Rey-(shocked to see her) aunty app! Yaha.. Kriya ne mujhe bataya nhi ki aap vapas kab aayi dehradun se?
Sm-kriya ne tumhe isliye nhi bataya qki usse khud bhi nhi pata ki mein yaha hoon?
Rey- wat? Lekin q aunty aapne ne yeh kriya ko q nhi batayi?
(Sm looks at him and decides to tell him the truth)
Sm- rey woh..............
Rey-aunty pla bataiyeh kya baat hai u look tensed..
Sm- mujhe cancer hai last stage..
Rey-what?
Sm-haa mujhe cancer hai..usss din jab mein party se nikli thi toh dehradun jaane ke liye nahi nikli mujhe last week kaafi test karvane the isliye mein ghar se nikal gai n apni bhen k saath reh rhi hu...aaj bas ussi ke reports lene aayi thi.
Rey-kya kriya ko?
Sm-nhi usse kuch nhi pata...
Rey-lekin aunty yeh kab hua?
Sm-do saal pehle, isliye mein kriya ko us le gai thi taaki uske saath time spend kar saku...lekin tum sab se especially tumse and dance se dur hone ke dukh se woh depression mein chali gai thi.. Toh mein kuch bol nahi payi... And ab bhot mushquil se usse apni khushiya vapas mili hai mein usse yeh news nahi de payi.
Rey-lekin aunty kriya ka yeh baat janna bhot jarruri hai...
Sm-ik and abb toh batana hi padega qki...
Rey-qki kya aunty...
Sm-reports mein aaya hai I have only 3 weeks left or may be less than that.
Rey-what?(by now tears formed up in his eyes)
Sm-rey tumhara annual day kab hai?
Rey-do din baad...
Sm-ok toh do din baad mein usse sab bata dungi I dnt want ki uska yeh annual day spoil ho.... And Rey promise me tab tak tum usse kuch nahi batao ge..
Rey-lekin aunty!
Sm-pls rey mere liye?
Rey-ok....
Sm-good now go back to her, she needs you.
Rey-yeah... Pls take care...

Rey-haa kriya n maine tumhe isliye nahi bataya q ki aunty ne mujhse promise liya tha...
Kr(trembles down on the stairs crying) mom doo saal se itna kuch bare kar rhi hai n unhone mujhe bataya bhi nahi. Meri hi galti hai mein apne problems ko leke itna selfish ho gae thi ki unki parvah hi nahi ki.its all my fault. Meri hi galti hai...
Rey-( sits down besides her n turns her towards him self and cups her face) dnt be silly kriya. It is a disease n woh tumhari wajah se nahi hua kisiko bhi ho sakta tha...
Kr-agar kisiko ko bhi ho sakta tha toh mujhe q mag. Mein bhot buri hu rey....im very bad I shld have got that disease...
Rey-shtp kriya u r not bad,its nt yr fault ok and who can challenge Karma?
Kr-yeh destiny and universe ji na bhot bure hai.... Jiss cheez ke mein karib aati hu usse woh mujhse dur le jaate hai. Do saal pehle..dance ko, aapko, n mere frnz ko mujhse dur kar diya and ab jab sab theek chal rha tha toh mom ko le jaa rhe ho. Rey aap bhi chale jaiye kya pata universe ji aapko firse mujhse dur le jaye?
(She starts pushing him when he grabs both her wrists while she is still crying...he pulls her into a tight hug making her feel secure)
Rey- kriya stop imagining things like these and I am not going any where. Iss baar tumhare universe ji bhi chah ke muje tumse dur nahi kar sakte. N agar unhe dur karna hi tha toh wapas q milate.... Dnt worry ok mein yahi hu im not going anywhere. Just relax.(he kissed her forehead and both remained like that for long)
