One day I was planning a trip to London to see my mother. I planned to take a train and a bus there. Just as I was about to leave, my mother. She told me she picked up a virus while on a cruise and said I shouldn't bother seeing her until it went away and she was better. So I stayed at home. Later that night she rang frantically and told me to put the news on. Apparently the bus I would have caught was blown up, by a terrorist attack.
