A week went by, and everyday we did the same things. I finished my hammocks, but I became bored with what we were doing every, single, day. I still wonder how dark gets the crabs and the fish. because fish swim in salt water, and Dark can't touch the water, but still he gets fish for dinner everyday. I don't dare to ask him again, because every time I do, he gets angry and tells me it's none of my business. That one night we kissed goes through my head every day. It were just two simple kisses, but I loved every moment of it. Every little feeling that went through my body after that, that night. We never talked about it afterwards. But every day I want to ask him if we are something. I want to ask him today. Ask him all the unanswered questions in my head.
We sit in the cave together. It's storming heavily outside, so the only warmth we have is the campfire. I've been glancing over at Dark from time to time, but I quickly look away every time he flashes a lustful smirk at me. I'm wondering if he thinks about that night too. "Darky?" I look over at my left, where Dark is sitting. He lifts his head, "Blood-scratch?" I answers playfully. We both chuckle softly at each other. "Why won't you tell me what is back there?" I ask, pointing in the direction that leads further into the cave. Dark sighs softly, "I already told you, nothing important!" He says blankly, not looking into my eyes. "Well if it's nothing important, then I guess you could tell me" I cross my arms, grinning cocky. Dark growls, "Can you SHUT UP about it already!?" He looks furious at me. I sigh annoyed, "No!! Why can't you just tell me!!!" I yell back at him before another flash of light and loud bang rolls through the cave, making me jump slightly, but trying to stay in my 'ready-to-fight' attitude. I look back at Dark, who is staring at me with his eyes wide, the skin around his eyes pitch-black, a strand of hair dangling at the side of his forehead. I yelp softly, and crawl backwards. "I said, it is none, of, your, BUSINESS!" His voice sounds way deeper, echoing and drilling right through my skull. I back up against a cold, stone wall, "o-okay. I'll stop asking about it!" I say, my voice getting a little higher. Dark stands up, "You better..." He growls softly before turning around and walking up the stairs. "wait...where are you going?!" I ask, crawling forward a little. "Leave me alone" He mumbles. "But it's-" I'm being cut off by the loud thunder, "storming..." I say softly after. I turn around and look at the fire. hugging my legs close to my chest. I stare blankly into the fire, before an idea pops into my head.
I grab a piece of wood, light it on fire, and decide to walk further into the cave myself. "If you don't want to answer me, I'll have to look for myself..." I mumble to myself as I stand up, and start walking. The thunder becomes softer and softer, signaling me that I'm getting father away from the entrance of the cave. I slide my hand along the walls so that I know where to go. The fire of the torch gives me not enough light to look in front or behind me. Then suddenly, I come to a way that leaves me to a choice, going left or right. I just go left, left again, and then right. I notice that the whole time I've been walking downwards slightly. Then suddenly, in front of me, I see a slight light at the end of the hall I'm currently in. I gasp softly and start to walk a little faster towards it. I walk around the corner, and gasp again at the breathtaking sight.
Gold everywhere.
The light of the torch shows me several hummocks of gold, jewelry and diamonds with in the back one that is way higher than the others. I hear a sound of a water drop falling every second, as if it is counting the time. The floor is the same cold floor, but here and there is a small stream of water, and the whole floor is wet. I walk between the small mountains of gold. "everyone is after this...?" I whisper to myself as I notice stairs that lead up to a throne with a small box it. I narrow my eyes slightly, "That is the treasure chest?" I mumble as I walk up the few stairs. I look behind me, looking over all the gold stacks. I look back at the throne made out of gold, and put the torch in a holder next to the throne before bending down to grab the small box.
"(Y/N)!?!" I suddenly hear Dark's voice echo through the whole place. I gasp, turning around. It sounded as if he was standing behind me already, but he isn't here yet. I quickly grab the small box, and replace it with another small box that looks slightly different. I jog down the few stairs and run back into the dark hallways, without torch. I see nothing, and I don't know where to go. "(Y/N), are you in here!?" He sounds worried, not even a little angry. "Dark! Yes, I'm here!" I quickly walk into another hallway, not wanting to let him know that I found the treasure room. "Where are you? Keep talking to me, I'll find you" He yells from far. "Do you have a light with you?" he asks sweetly. "No, not anymore," I quickly make up a lie, "I had a torch, but it somehow went out, and I put the piece of wood down. I tried to walk back the way I came here, but I don't remember" I tell him. "Keep talking" Dark answers, sounding closer. I suddenly see a small light appear, "Wait! Stop walking!" I say, "I see your light!" I tell him before walking towards the dancing flames on the wall. I walk around the corner and see Dark standing there, "Dark!!" I smile brightly. He lifts his head to look at me with a blank expression.
"Dark?"
