After school was our band audition.
I was slightly nervous that we'd get rejected, but was also pumped because we were pretty good and would have to be terrible if we were rejected.
Me and Jennifer walked into the gymnasium. I was making final adjustments to my guitar and Jennifer kept reassuring me that we would be great.
"Next please." One of the judges call us up.
I head up on stage and plug my electric guitar into the speaker. "Alright! We're the- we're the Pinheads." I say, feeling stupid I almost forgot our name.
"One, two, three!" The lead drummer yells off the start and immediately we start jamming my favorite song, Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News. Hey! We we're actually doing good until one of the judges cut us off...
"Hold it, hold it, wait just a minute, just a minute fellas," It takes a couple times for the judges to get our attention- "I'm afraid you're just too darn loud."
My face stops working and my muscles freeze. What?
