"Sit down, Alaska." Harry said. After multiple attempts, I finally listened to him.
"We are filing for divorce. Alaska." My heart raced slowed.
"You're what?"
"Filing for divorce. We are barely married right now. She's probably out with her Sixty-year old mistress on a yacht in Turks and Caicos." He chucked. But he probably wasn't joking.
I started breathing again. I was laughing because I was relieved.
"Okay. Okay" I sat down in my chair, and finished the rest of my rosé.
"Do you really think I would invite you over for dinner if we still lived at the same house? That's illogical."
"Well i'm sure anyone would think a thirty-three year old man having dinner with his eighteen year old student would be anything but logical." I said.
"But I get it. I get it." I said trying not to smile.
"Still want me to drive you home?" He smirked.
"No, I think I'll stay." I said as I continued to finish my meal.
After we have settled down again, I started up conversation.
"Did you ever have any kids?" I asked.
"No. I always wanted kids but Taylor; my wife didn't." He told me.
"Oh."
"Do you want kids when you're older?"
"I do." I smiled as I put my utensils on my empty plate.
"What exactly are you going to do over the break? Since your family is away and all." Harry put his utensils on his plate as well. We were both finished our meals.
"I'm not sure. Probably nothing."
"We should do something." He smirked.
"Like what?"
"I don't know, we'll make plans when the time comes." He said as he took our dishes and placed it in the dishwasher.
"Come." He put his hand out for me to hold.
"Where are we going?"
"Upstairs."

Harry led me through a spiral staircase to the second floor. I was greeted to a long hall and a gorgeous, grand christmas tree.
"Wow" I said. It was almost a whisper. My breath was taken away at how stunning everything was. I had never seen a christmas tree this lovely in real life.
"You like?" He asked as he put his arm around my waist.
"I love." I said to him. My eyes were locked on the dazzling white lights and the gold angels that decorated the tree.
Harry led me through the hall on the second floor of his house, rambling on about the christmas decorations and how he collects antique ones, but I couldn't get my mind to wrap around how he could live so luxuriously. It wasn't the time to ask, so I didn't, but it was definitely a question I'd want answered sooner or later.

Harry and I agreed we should finish the night off by watching a movie in his living room. All the walking in my heels wore me out and I just wanted to settle down.
