Stevie woke up early, making Lindsey a big breakfast and setting it up for him on a tray. She brought it to bed and set it on the nightstand.
Stevie felt like she owed him a lot, wishing she could do more. She decided to clean the apartment top to bottom.
Stevie was just dusting the windows when she jumped, hearing a voice behind her
"What on earth do you think you are doing?" Lindsey asked sternly
"Cleaning"
"Why are you out of bed?"
"I wanted to pull my weight around here," Stevie explained
"You shouldn't be stressing like this. You don't owe me anything."
"I feel selfish."
"Stevie if I didn't want to do this I wouldn't, I love you and..." Stevie interrupted him
"What?" She asked not sure she heard right
"I said I wouldn't do this if I..." Once again she interrupted
"No after that!"
"I love you..."
"After everything I've done?"
"When you love someone-none of that matters."
Stevie walked over to Lindsey and wrapped her arms around him
"I love you too!" She looked into his eyes
He stared into her eyes and slowly kissed her. She pulled away, unsure if this was okay.
Lindsey quickly assured her by kissing her again.
Pulling her as close as her body would let him, he cradled her head, moving his mouth seductively over hers, pulling back they joined foreheads
"Woah!" Stevie said breathlessly
"Yeah woah!"
"I didn't see that coming," Stevie giggles
"You have no idea how bad I've wanted to do that since I found you again."
"So why didn't you?" Stevie asked stroking some stray curls out of his face
"I didn't know how you felt about me...after everything that happened I couldn't be sure it's what you wanted"
"I'll always want you," Stevie kissed his nose
"I'll always be here for you."
They stood like that for minuets, just holding each other round the waists
"You fancy going for dinner tonight?" Lindsey asked after a moment
"Ooooh yes please!"
"There's a new dinner down town that I'd love to go try!" Lindsey had wanted to go there for a while so he decided on a dinner date.
"I don't have anything to wear." Stevie looked down, still dressed in the tshirt from yesterday
"You stay in bed and I will go out and buy you something nice."
"Linds, you don't even know my size..."
"I remembered from before, add a little for the baby and we should be good!"
"Thank you honey!" She loved being taken care of
"Promise me you'll stay in bed?" Lindsey was worried she would carry on moving to much
"I promise baby, now hurry back please, I'm hungry" she winked, even though she had eaten some toast in the kitchen whilst making Lindsey's breakfast
