"Jeez, doesn't anybody in this school watch where they're going?!" I heard someone hiss in front of me.
I was laying on the ground, after running into something hard. My vision was still blurred from my tears and the impact of the hit so I couldn't see well. The person who spoke had a very attractive voice, even though it was filled with angry venom.
"Will, can't you see she's obviously not okay? She's crying for pete's sake!" I heard a softer voice moan and I felt somebody touch me to pick me up. I was quite a heavy chick, but whoever this person was, he did it without grunting or yelping about a sprained back!
I was still sobbing and hiccuping, limp in this persons arms, not properly registering what was happening.
Then it hit me. i looked like a train wreck in front of more than one person, and they were most certainly not females. Thank God my eyes were shut, in order to block out any more tears, however, I was still majorly weak. I knew I looked hideous when I cried so then I decided to straighten myself up. It took me all of my strength to do that, because I honestly felt like crap and I wanted to stay in this strong persons' hands, sooo badly...
And then I opened my eyes.
I really wish I kept them closed because what I saw was honestly too overwhelming for me to bear. I swear my heart actually stopped for a second, as I drank in the not 1 but 3 Latino beauties in front of me. I flickered my eyes to a pair of blue, grey and green eyes, 3 amazing colours, rendering me paralyzed. I gasped and held my breath, because my mouth was too dry to swallow my saliva.
"I thought she was having a fit!"
That brought me out of my mystical trance and I pulled myself out of the angel's grasp. I really didn't want to, I wanted to pretend to faint there and just rest in his arms. But that would be lame.
I heard a loud shuffle then a groan. Obviously one of them had punched another.
"I'm so sorry. That was- I don't- sorry-I-" I couldn't even speak properly and I felt so sheepish and stupid for bawling my eyes out just a moment before.
"Hey, don't worry about it. Are you alright? That was quite a fall back there." He asked, pure concern in his eyes. I didn't want to stare for too long and seem like a super freak, so instead I stared at the ground.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm quite accident prone. I hope I didn't hurt anybody." I answered sheepishly, still not wanting to stare into any of their majestic eyes.
"No course not. Name's Callum." He introduced, with an outstreched hand. I shook it, with a smile on my face but I tried not to look like a cheshire cat.
"Hi my name is Aaliyah, Leah for short." I was beaming now, as I saw Callum raise his eyebrow, interested in my name. I heard someone clear their throat beside him, in order to attract my attention to a pair of clear, blue eyes. I glanced towards hottie number two and smiled as he stretched his hand
"Name's Will, the best and hottest out of the Ferreira family, nice to meet you." He smirked cockily. When Callum sighed and rolled his amazing green eyes, I could tell he was the annoying one out of the family but this didn't stop the butterflies fluttering in my stomach. They were all brothers, triplets I suspect!
Finally I turned to the last one. He seemed quite reserved, like he was in serious thought. I could see that in his grey eyes. Grey is usually assoicated with dullness, but MY LORD, his eyes showed anything but that. The were so intensive, telling me they could see into my soul. I know that it was supposed to make me feel uncomfortable, but it made me feel quite safe and assured.
"Matthew, the name's Matthew." He said simply but warmly, and I had a curious smile on my face. I really hoped that this classed us as friends... or at least aquaintances. I didn't want the silence to grow awkward, and I really didn't want to leave them now, I was just getting out of my rotten mood.
"So," I started, directed to no one in particular "Is this your first day?"
"Yup. First day today and we've already made a friend. Hoping to keep up the progress."
"Oh yeah? Who's the friend?" I asked, ever so naively.
"You! DUH." Will said, looking at me as if I was mentally disabled. I kind of couldn't blame him though.
"Oh, right, sorry. I just expected you guys to have heaps of friends already... seeing as you fit into this high school's 'cool' category.Oh how I hate categories" I sighed, using air quotations to add emphasis.
"Me too. Why can't everyone just be friends with eachother? LABELS, LABELS, LABELS!!" Matthew said through gritted teeth. His teeth were extremely straight... and white... wow.
Then I realised how easy it was to talk to them. All three of them. The conversation didn't have the chance to get awkward, we just spoke and spoke and spoke. And I loved every second of it.
And then the question popped up. The question I had no intention on answering,
"So Leah, you didn't tell us... why were you crying?"
but I had already said too much to avoid this question or lie about it. We were official friends now... so I told them, in the hall, way late for class, standing there. I told them everything from start to finish.
A/N: Hello, ok I'm quite foolish and I decided that I needed to turn this story around a little bit, by adding not 1 but 3 hotties. I hope this doesn't affect any readings because I have done his for a very good reason... but I guess you are going to have to find out!!
Thanks for reading, and PLEASEEEEE vote, comment, fan, share, ANYTHING! Any input is accepted, I want to write to what you guys like!
