Never Believed It- Playing Around

I woke up to find an arm draped over my body, hugging me close. I stayed still for a couple of seconds, watching his chest rise and fall slowly and peacefully. He looked angelic with the morning sun shining on to his face. He radiated innocence; although I knew he was anything but that. He smelt of citrus fruits, and I couldn't help but inhale his scent. I lowered myself on the bed so that I was facing him completely and just watched him, wondering how lucky I got to have these boys in my life. Endless moments drifted by as my heart shook at the words:

"Take a picture, it lasts longer."

Will's coral blue eyes were wide open and were staring intently into mine. I yelped, shocked at his sudden awakeness.

"How long have you been awake for?" I asked, fear thick in my voice. He couldn't have noticed me staring at him for that long, could he?

"A couple of minutes, maybe ten?" He replied simply, with his signature smirk. I gaped at him and dragged the pillow from under his head to smash him with.

"YOU STUPID BOY! Why didn't you just open your eyes and wake up properly like any other human being?!" I yelled, still hitting him with the pillow. Suddenly, he grabbed my wrists and pinned my hands above my head, pulling his face so close to mine. He was rested on top of me, making sure to not put all of his weight on me. My heart leapt out of my chest, ramming against my ribcage. My breathing became raspy and I stared back at him.

"Maybe I enjoyed the fact that you were watching me." He breathed back, his face serious. God knows that at that moment, I was lost for words. I didn't know what to do or say, so I stayed there, his eyes keeping me in a trance. He continued to stare at me, looking at every part of my face. Everytime, his eyes darted down to my lips, then came back up as fast as they went. There was so much tension in the room, both of our breaths heavy and laboured. Ruining this perfectly painful moment, the door burst open, revealing both Callum and Matthew with their hands covering their eyes.

"Leah, I hope you're decent," Callum started. "We're looking for Will and we can't find him, do you know where he might be?"

If I had to name the top 10 moments that I have dreaded before in my life, this would probably make number 3. Callum cautiously removed his hands from his eyes, just in case I wasn't dressed appropriately. Will and I were still in the same, unjustifiable position, but considering Will's facial expression, he couldn't care less.

Callum's face changed from a smile and it crumpled, showing nothing but betrayal and hurt. Matthew's face resembled the same expression, showing more intensity and a deeper meaning.

"Oh. Found him." was all Callum could wrangle out of his throat, as he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. His voice was dead and lifeless, and his face drained colour.

"Awkward." was all Will could conclude from the situation, twisting his bottom lip as he said it.

"Excuse me," I said awkwardly, signalling for him to get off of me. "I need to go to the bathroom." My voice cracked at the last word, as I scurried out of the room. I barely made it to the bathroom door before I broke down in tears.

How could I have been so inconsiderate?

How could I play around with brothers?

I scolded myself for my slutty behaviour. playing around is exactly what I insult other people for doing. That's hypocritical. I am a hypocrite.

But if it was so wrong, why did it feel so right?
