I was sitting comfortably on my living room sofa, stuffing a handful of popcorn in my mouth. This is bliss, I thought to myself. Mid chew, my phone started to ring on the table. I rolled my eyes and reached over in attempt to grab the phone without getting up. I almost choked on the popcorn in my mouth, struggling to reach it. By the time I got the phone, I was in an awkward position on the floor, gagging on the popcorn that was lodged in my throat. Despite my condition, I picked up the phone.

"Hi, Leah." I recognised Will on the phone, which just made me choke even more.

"Ungg..." I struggled to reply, spitting the popcorn on to my hand. I stared at it sorrowfully. What a waste. "Hi." I replied glumly.

"Are you okay?" He asked, with a cross between amusement and confusion in his tone.

"What do you want?" I dismissed him quickly, suddenly feeling embarrassed of my near death experience over the phone.

"We need to talk," He paused for a moment. "We all need to talk."

"About what?" I inquired.

"The whole gang business." He replied, adding emphasis on the word gang.

"Oh."

"I'll be around to pick you up in half an hour."

 "Wait-"

"Bye!" Will quickly hung up the phone. How did he know that I didn't have something better to do with my day? I rolled my eyes at myself. It's not like you did.

I stormed into Will's car, slamming the door for extra measure. He threw me a dirty look.

"Don't damage my baby."

"I'll damage your face instead." I spat.

 "Touche."

I rolled my eyes at him, but a small smile appeared on my face. After a few seconds, his sour look started to morph into a smile too.

"I see your leg is better."

"Yeah, much better. No thanks to that Maria bitch." Once I said her name, his face turned stony and he gave me a serious look. His eyes held mine for longer than I felt comfortable with.

"She's not getting away with that. I promise you." The gaze that his previously bright eyes now held was too overwhelming for me to continue looking at. I shyly nodded my head and turned my head to look out of the window. Damn. These boys all had split personalities, one minute they were the most immature bunch, and then the next they were weighing me down with just one serious look on their faces. We lapsed into a comfortable silence for the rest of the journey.

When we arrived at the Ferreira household, I was pulled into a bear hug by Callum.

"Callum... you're crushing me." I choked out, although I was secretly enjoying it.

"Sorry, I'm just glad to see you without any more scars." He smiled down at me. I suddenly felt all warm and hugged him back. He took me to their living room. I involuntarily cringed, remembering the events that took place just yesterday. What if they come back?

"Don't worry, you're safe here." Matthew came out of no where, leaning against the doorframe. It was a bit worrying how he knew how I felt at times. He offered me a smile and I returned it. I sat more comfortably on the sofa and looked at the triplets who were standing before me.
