He sat laying in his bed as he started at the nurse intently, watching as she filled a very small syringe with a small amount of the drug he relied on so much. He had been there for over a month, and today was his last dosage of the bliss before they cut him off completely. He knew he couldn't let them. He had to fight. He had to get more of the drug. He had to get to Michael. She slipped the needle into his vein and inserted the drug, letting the small amout seep through his body. The fire feeling was enjoyable now, the feeling of pain. It turned him on. But slowly through his treatments, he began forgetting. He forgot multiple days at a time. Now he was down to only a few good days he had with Michael.

Harry stood at the window, watching his brother's eyes glaze over as bliss overtook him. A tear slipped down the boy's soft cheek.

"Har, what are you doing here?" Ashton asked. "Mums worried about you."

"That isn't really Luke, is it?" He said softly.

"What are you talking about?"

"He's not Luke anymore... he only speaks when he lashes out, he's always in a daze.... he doesn't notice is anymore. He doesn't love us either." Suddenly Luke looked over at them as if sensing his own name come up.

"Mum?" He asked. "Where am I? What's happening?" The nurse ran over to calm him. "W-where am I? I want to go home. Where's my family, I want my family," he sobbed, trying to get up. A few of the male nurses walked in and pinned the boy down.

"Stay here," Ashton said, running into the room.

"You can't be in here-"

"Ashton?" Luke asked. "Ashy, help me. I don't know what's happening."

"Can someone call my mum? Please?" He asked as the orderlies let the boy go. He sat on the side of his brother's bed, gripping his hand. "You're okay, Luke. You're alright. You're safe now."

"Where am I? What's happening?" He asked, clinging to his older brother as if he would disappear forever if he let go.

"You're at the hospital."

"H-hospital..." he said softly, furrowing his eyebrows together in confusion. Ashton looked at Harry who was now leaning against the window. He didn't want to bring him in, in case Luke had a break down, but he didn't want to keep Harry from their brother. Especially when he was seemingly lucid for the first time. "Wh-what happened? I can't remember anything. I-I..." he froze as he thought of the boy with green eyes and crazy hair. And he shivered, those eyes bringing nothing but painful memories. He brushed his hand over his chest, feeling the dragon burned into his skin. "How did I get out?" He whispered.

"You almost didn't... you were overdosed."

"How long have I been here?" He asked.

"Over a month. Almost two."

"What? H-how long was I gone?" He asked.

"I... don't exactly remember. Five maybe six months..." he looked so confused.

"What day is it?" He whispered. Ashton ran a hand through his hair.

"January 25th," he said softly. Luke nodded his head, but suddenly his eyes widened.

"It's Calum's birthday?" He asked softly. Ashton nodded softly in response as a tear slipped down Luke's cheek. "Oh god," he whispered, remembering what his captors had said - Calum was dead.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Ashton asked, wiping his brother's tear away.

"I-I know what happened," Luke whispered. Ashton felt himself tense up, feeling guult weigh down his chest.

"Luke, I-"

"Calum was killed by G, and it's all my fault," he cried. Ashton felt confusion and relief flood through him at once.

"Luke? Calum isn't dead. He was attacked, but he didn't die. He's the entire reason they were able to find you. He remembered their names." Luke stared at his brother, searching for the lie.

"I-I want to see him," he whispered.

"You will," he said softly. Anne and Liz walked into the room, tears threatening to fall from their eyes.

"Mum..." Luke said softly, smiling at them. They both smiled and ran over to him, tackling the boy in a hug and kissing his face repeatedly. Doctor Scott walked in and smiled lightly.

"Excuse me?" He said softly. "I'm going to need to do a couple of tests on Luke." They just nodded and stepped away.

"We'll be right outside, alright dear?" Liz asked. He laughed lightly.

"Okay mum..." He asked. Anne smiled and grabbed Ashton's hand, not wanting to leave Luke.

For now. Things were starting to get back to normal. For now...

Luke walked with his mother weakly into the police station. He had been recovering for 3 months now and still it was hard.

"Luke, hey," Thomas said, walking over and joining them. "Are you ready?" The boy just nodded in response, being led to a small office. He gave the detective his statment. Every moment he could remember of his time with the two brothers. He still couldn't remember any of the love shared between him and Michael.

"Okay," Thomas said. "One more question... what do you feel for Michael Clifford?" Luke looked down at the table as his mum grabbed his hand.

"I hate him," Luke said. "He was awful. He beat me, abused me, put not only my life but Calum's in danger. He didn't like that I was in love with Calum so he sent G to kill him... I almost lost him." Thomas nodded in response.

"Would you be willing to identify him?" He asked. Luke looked up at him.

"That sounds like two more questions..." he whispered, his voice cracking.

"I know you don't want to see him, but we need you to say it's him. We have to be sure." Luke just nodded solemnly and looked down. Thomas smiled gently and stood up, leading the young boy to an observation room of an interrogation office. "Don't worry. You'll see him, but he can't see or hear you." Luke shuddered as he stared at the door for a moment before going inide. He looked past the glass and saw Michael sitting on the ground in the corner, mumbling something as he rocked back and forth. Luke froze in fear and felt himself beginning to shake.

"Th-that's him," he whispered. Thomas nodded and switched on the speaker so they could hear the boy.

"L-Luke loves me. He said so. He loves me. I love him. We love eachother. No one can tear us apart. He said so. He did. He really really did-" Thomas cut it off and glamced nervously at Luke who just stared. His eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

"It's time we go home," Liz said, grabbing Luke's hand and pulling him out.
