Noah lay silently in the hospital bed shifting slightly as the anesthetic wore off. His eyes opened and he looked around the room, unsure of what to think.

"Hello there," his nurse said as she checked his vitals. "Don't you worry. The surgery was a complete success. You brother in law woke up about fifteen minutes ago. He's feeling much better."

"W-where's Luke?" He asked, suddenly realizing what was wrong. "Where's my fiance?"

"I'm not sure... I'll go see if he's with the rest of your family waiting in the lobby..." Noah sat himself up slightly and ran a hand through his hair. Every terrible outcome was running through his mind. Tears slipped down his cheeks as the terrible thought crossed his mind. Luke is dead.

He reached over and picked up the tv remote, knowing that if something happened it'd be on the news already.

Authorities say that the body was found on the side of the road with a bullet through the head-

Noah felt his stomach clench.

With Michael Clifford's body found, police are searching once again for Luke Hemmings. His younger brother, who had been taken by Clifford earlier this week, was found today when police pulled him over as he attempted to drive his older brother, Ashton Irwin to the hospital. Young Harry told authorities that Gerald Gillum, Clifford's deceased foster brother, took Luke once again-

Noah turned off the tv and began unhooking himself from the wires and IVs, ready to look for his love.

"Noah Centineo, what in God's name do you think you're doing?" He looked over quickly and saw Liz standing im the doorway.

"I-I have to go find him-"

"You'll do no such thing..." she demanded. "Four of my sons are currently laying in hospital beds and one is missing. I'll be dammed if I let you past."

"What happened?"

"Ashton and Luke went off... they tried to make a deal with the devil and instead Ashton ended up shot twice, Luke ended up being taken again, and Harry might be charged with reckless endangerment-"

"Wait, what?"

"No matter. We will find Luke, my love. I promise we will... we always do. But you just had a major surgery. You're staying right there..." Lauren ran into the room suddenly.

"Th-they found him, mum... they found him, he's down in the emergency room-"

"Lauren, make sure Noah stays in this bed..." she said, turning and running off down the hall. Lauren turned to her soon to be brother and sighed softly.

"I'm not stopping you, just let me grab a wheelchair first," she said, popping out and coming back with a wheelchair. "Let's go then." Noah smiled and kissed her cheek before she helped him get into the chair. They rushed down to the emergency room where they saw Luke sitting up on a bed as a nurse stitched up a small wound on his abdomen. Liz sat there, crying and scolding him. Luke looked up and saw Noah, feeling relief flood through him. The nurse covered his stitches with a dressing and he jumped up, walking over to his fiance and kissing him passionately.

"Lauren, I told you-"

"Mum, none of us listen anymore. At least I got him here safe rather than letting him walk alone..."

"Don't you ever do anything like that again," Noah said quietly, placing his hands on either side of Luke's face.

"I won't... I promise I won't. They're gone... both of them. No one can hurt us anymore..."

"Alright you two," Liz said. "You'll be together soon. Noah, up to your room... I'll bring Luke along once he's been thoroughly checked over. Andrew, a bit of help here?" Andrew nodded and stepped up, pulling his son in law back to his room.

Calum lay quietly in the hospital bed, feeling someone playing with his hand. His eyes fluttered open and he froze when he didn't see anyone in the room with him.

"Ashton?" He asked quietly. He sat up I'm bed, wincing in pain. "Ash..." he felt a tear slip down his cheek, knowing something was wrong. The door opened and he looked over quickly, seeing Harry walk inside. "Harry... oh my God. You're alright... what happened? Are you okay?" Harry sighed and sat next to Calum, shaking his head in response.

"A-Ashton... he was shot. He's in surgery right now. I don't know if he's going to make it..." Calum felt his heart sink, but hugged his baby brother.

"He'll make it," he whispered. "He has to..." Harry just nodded in response. "What about Luke? Is he okay?"

"They're just about to release him from the ER. He was taken by G... turns out he wasn't actually dead... but I shot him before he took our brother and he crashed the car... both Michael and G are dead now. Officially. They can't hurt us anymore..." the door opened and Calum looked up, smiling at his brother in law.

"Hey," Luke said softly. "How do you feel?"

"Better than you, I'm guessing..." Luke scoffed lightly and nodded in response.

"No doubt about that..."

"How's Ashton? Do you know?" Luke sighed and sat beside his brother in law.

"The doctor said he should be out of surgery soon... it was a clean shot in both places and the bleeding has stopped mostly... he should be fine." Calum sighed in relief.

"Go then. Be with Noah... we'll be fine here." Luke sighed softly before hugging Calum.

"We did it," he whispered. "We all survived..."

"Yeah... let's keep it that way, shall we?" Luke laughed lightly and pulled away from his ex.

"We will. The Hemmings-Irwin-Hood-Centineos are tough." Calum chuckled lightly.

"Yeah. We sure are." Luke ruffled Harry's hair gently before making his way out of the room. Everything was going to be better.

Two Years Later

Luke lay next to Noah, examining hours husband's sleeping features. A soft cry sounded from the baby monitor as Noah shifted in his sleep.

"Wha-?" He asked sleepily.

"I'll get him, baby. Go back to sleep," Luke whispered, kissing his cheek. He stood from bed and made his way down the hallway, going into his son's bedroom. He looked into the crib and saw the eleven-month-old wide awake. "Hello, handsome," he whispered, picking the baby out of the cot. "You're okay... are you hungry?" He walked out of the room and down to the kitchen, making the baby a bottle before going back into his room. He sat in the rocking chair and rested his son on his arm, beginning to feed him. "There," he said softly. "How's that, Adam?" The baby cooed softly as he ate his bottle. Luke looked up and smiled at his husband who was sleepily admiring from the door.

"You're such a great daddy," he whispered. Luke smiled and looked back to his son.

"Go back to bed, babe. I'll be there soon."

10,393 Miles Away

The ten year old boy sat in his bedroom, listening to his foster parents scream at one another as he stared at the picture of his father. He knew of his father's past. How he kidnapped a boy and tried to murder him. He knew that his father grew up in a foster system, just like he did. He also knew that one day Luke Hemmings would pay for killing his father... no matter what it took.
