Three Years Later

Luke walked into the small bar and quickly glanced over the people sitting around. He smiled when he saw his boyfriend, standing tall behind the bar as he set up the new keg. Luke walked over and leaned over the bar, smiling at the slightly older boy. Noah looked up at him and stopped what he was doing to lean over and kiss him passionately.

"Hey baby," he said, pulling away and kissing Luke's cheek. "Just give me another five minutes, and I swear I'll be good to go."

"Okay," Luke smiled, sitting on a stool infront of him and admiring him as he forced the keg in place.

"Mario, I'm out of here," Noah called, grabbing his coat and clocking out. He walked around the table and wrapped his arm around Luke's waist, leading him outside. "You sure you're ready for tonight?" He asked, putting his hand in Luke's back pocket and leading him towards the car. Luke just nodded quietly in response. "If it's too weird, we can just say that we... fell off of a cliff and couldn't make it to dinner." Luke laughed lightly and cuddled up to his boyfriend as they walked.

"I need to be there," he spoke softly. "For Ash... after all, I am the best man."

"I just realized," Noah said, stopping infront of their car and leaning to whisper in his ear. "I've always wanted to go home with the best man of a wedding." Luke laughed and placed a kiss on Noah's lips.

"Well maybe tomorrow night, you'll get lucky..." he winked before sitting in the car. Noah smirked and closed the door far him, walking around and getting into the passenger's seat.

Luke walked into the dining hall and felt a sudden hand on his arm, making him flinch slightly.

"I need your help," Calum said, pulling him into the bathroom.

"What is it?" Luke asked, straightening his suit.

"I-I panicked and now I don't know what to do," he said, holding onto the front section of his hair.

"What are you taking about?" Luke laughed. Calum moved his hand and Luke stifled a laugh. "God Cal, they did you do?" He asked, going over the blond streak with his fingers.

"I don't know!" He cried. "Help me!"

"It doesn't look bad," Luke said, styling the boy's hair. "I actually kind of like it," he admitted.

"I'm getting married tomorrow... I can't have half blond hair."

"It's more of a blond accent," Luke said. "Besides, we can always cover it tonight. Just go out there and get on with your rehearsal dinner, and Mum will dye it for you tonight. Now go get ready to marry my brother," he said, nudging him towards the door. Calum sighed and leaned against the counter.

"I'm freaking out, Luke," he whispered. "What if I'm not supposed to marry him?"

"The only Hemming-Irwin you almost wrongfully married was me, Cal. You and Ashton are soulmates. You can't get cold feet now..."

"What if I was made to be with you though?" He asked. "What if leaving you was the biggest mistake?"

"Believe me, Calum. We both know that's a load of horse-shit... you love Ashton. He loves you too. The live between the two of you is stronger than anything we had between us... we fell out of love a very long time ago. You're going to marry your soulmate tomorrow. I'll go home to mine." Calum sighed and hugged Luke tightly.

"Thank you," he whispered.

"You're welcome..." He thought of something and shuddered lightly. "I guess tomorrow we're going to be-"
"Don't you dare say it, Hemmings."

"Brothers." They pulled away and shuddered lightly. "There you go. You can't doubt it anymore." Luke winked and walked out of the bathroom.

"What was that about?" Noah asked as Luke sat beside him.

"Oh, baby. You'll see," Luke laughed. "When you see it though, promise not to laugh..." They turned and saw Calum walk out of the bathroom, running a band through his his.

"Oh my gosh," Noah said, stifling a laugh. Luke nudged him softly and tried to give him a stern look.

"Be nice," he said.

"I'm always nice," Noah said, putting his arm around Luke's shoulders.

"Whatever," Luke laughed as Noah kissed his cheek.

"Well I'm always nice to you." Finally, Luke's life wasn't so terrible.

Two Years Ago

Luke sat staring out the window of his new home. When he returned from the hospital six months ago, he decided to move with his father back to England. He felt that he needed a break from the country he traveled across with his captor.

"Hey, buddy," Andrew said from the door. "Ready to go pick up Cal from the airport?" He asked. Luke looked over and smiled softly, running his hand through his rather long curls.

"Yeah," he said quietly. "Let's go..."

The drive to the airport was filled with an awkward silence, and when they finally parked, Andrew turned to his son.

"What's the matter, son? Aren't you excited to see Calum?" He asked.

"Honestly?" He whispered. "I think I have to break up with him..."

"Oh... why's that?"

"We're not in love anymore," he said softly. "I don't think we have been for a very long time... He shouldn't be stuck because he feels obligated to stay..." Andrew leaned over and hugged his son tightly.

"You're a good man, Luke..."

"Yeah, well. I learned from the best," he laughed. Andrew smiled and kissed the boy's cheek.

"Shall we?" He asked. Luke just nodded in response, following his father inside to see the boy he once loved.
