I have never updated any of my stories this hectically in my life 😂 this is what it looks like to avoid responsibility ladies and gentlemen.

A police car rushed down the highway, heading towards the small house two towns away. Detective Sangster was hurrying to meet the local officers at Michael Clifford's first foster home to find the abducted boy.

"Officers Leonard and Bishop arriving on the scene. What's our mode of action?" A voice called over the radio. Thomas reached over and grabbed his radio.

"Detective Sangster, en route. Stand your ground, make sure nobody goes in or out of the house. Wait for further instructions per my arrival."

"Copy that."

Thomas sped off of the highway with his lights flashing, heading in town towards the home. He turned the corner and saw two other police cars arriving along with SWAT. He parked quickly and hopped out of the car, pulling on his bullet proof vest.

"I need all points of entrance covered," he called, adjusting his holster.

"We'll follow you, Detective," head of SWAT called.

"Be advised. Suspect could be armed and dangerous. Don't hurt Luke Hemmings! Anything happens to him, you answer to me. Let's move in." They ran up to the front porch and knocked loudly.

"Open up, this is the police!" A SWAT member called. They waited a moment before busting in the door and rushing in. Thomas headed to the back room as the others cleared the other rooms. He walked inside and saw it was empty. He cleared both the small bedroom and the bathroom inside. He walked back into the bedroom and saw a shattered phone on the floor as he heard the all clear. He rushed outside and saw a police line had been established as neighbors lined up to see what had happened. One of the officers called Thomas over as he spoke to an old lady.

"I saw them speed away! He was acting so strange. This man got into his black SUV and pulled away but came back about five minutes later. Ten minutes after that, same thing, pulls away and comes back. After that I heard some yelling. At this point, I got the license plate number, but a few minutes later, he left again and hasn't come back."

"You said you know the license plate number?" Thomas asked

"That's right. I may be old, I aint helpless."

"Can you write down the number for me? It could help us find our missing boy."

"Oh... yes of course," she said as he handed her a tablet and pen. She quickly wrote down a license plate number and handed it back to him.

"Thank you," he said, running back to his car and grabbing his radio. "I need all units to be on the look out for a black SUV. License plate NUC 780. Suspect, Michael Clifford is armed and dangerous. Has a hostage, Luke Hemmings. Engage but be cautious."

Thomas dropped the radio and sighed, looking over to see Ashton pulling up. Thomas got out and hurried over to the boy.

"Ashton... what are you doing here?" He asked.

"You didn't find him... you promised me you'd find him."

"I'm-"

"You're not trying hard enough!" He shouted before turning and getting back into his car, driving away with a lack of any and all hope.

Michael sat, staring at his obsession. He looked so vulnerable, and Michael loved it. He ran his hand over the dragon scar and the name that had been carved just beneath it. Luke shifted in his spot and opened his eyes, looking up towards Michael. His eyes were glazed over as the high from the drug slowly wore off.

"Good morning, baby boy," Michael whispered, laying down beside him.

"W-why are we still in the car?" Luke pouted. Now that only one of his hands was cuffed to the pole, he shifted his body and cuddled up to Michael.

"We're leaving the country," he whispered. "We're not safe here anymore..." Luke muttered the words Michael had just said and chuckled lightly before his eyes shot open, suddenly clear.

"We're what?" He asked.

"I'm sorry... I didn't know what else to do..."

"How can we leave? You're a fugitive and my face is plastered everywhere." Luke sat up and leaned against the partition that led to the front seat. "Mikey... we can't leave. They'd catch us..." Luke stopped suddenly. Why was he fighting against a chance at him being saved?

"Y-you want us to be together?" Michael asked, sitting up beside the boy he loved. A simple thought pressed at the back of his mind. Survive.

"Of course I want us to be together..." he whispered. Michael smiled and pressed their lips together.

"I love you, Luke... I love you so much."

"I love you too..."
