"So what are you opinions on the wars that are going on in the world today President?" a reporter asked while other reports circled around taking pictures and asking questions.

"Well I think these wars should be stopped. I will do everything I can as President of the United States to protect this country and the people in it," the President replied. The reporters wrote down what he said than began flooding him with more questions.

"I hate that guy. He's lying to those reporters and they don't know. How could someone so mean be good at pretending to be the good guy?! Ugh...I hate his guts. He's a lier, he's a jerk, plus he's so...FAT!" I said in a hushed voice ducking my head back into a bush SkyBird and I were hiding in. SkyBird giggled which made my face light up. I always liked making SkyBird laugh. She had such a cute laugh. "We should teach him a lesson," I said stretching my wings.

"And you think showing the President we have wings is going to teach him a lesson?" SkyBird said in a serious tone. She was always very cautiuos when it came to showing humans our wings. I unlike her was a risk taker. I liked to take risks and live on the edge.

"Yes. We might get to see the President scream like a two year old if we're lucky," I chuckled. I could see it in my head. The president running to the White House screaming his lungs out.

"Okay fine. But let's make this quick," SkyBird said trying to imagine the President screaming like a two year old.

"Yay! I get to be the one who tackles the President!" I said with excitement. I mean how many people even get the chance to tackle the President of the United States? I leaped out of the bush and into the sky with SkyBird next to my side.

"Be careful Hero," SkyBird cautioned. I rolled my eyes and nodded. I flapped my wings and raced towars the President who didn't seem to notice SkyBird or myself.

"This is for being a jerk  and for lying to this country," I said under my breath. I was getting closer to the President by each second that passed.

"Watch out Hero!" SkyBird said loud enough for me to hear but no one else.

"Watch out for what?!" I said just as I turned my head and saw a figure coming at me. The figure tackled me in mid-air making them and myself fly backwards. SkyBird dove down just in time to dodge me.  A face full of feathers and having a body ram into me wasn't what I would call my best day ever.

"Hero," a familiar voice said. It was then that I realized I wasn't being tackled. I was being hugged. My eyes grew wide.

"Peter!" I smiled as I looked into the eyes of a fellow avian. His golden hair that was always a mess, his blue eyes that reminded me of the sky and the sea, his pale skin. This definitely was Peter Pureheart.

"I'm so glad you and SkyBird are okay," Peter said holding me tight in his arms. I felt safe in his arms. My eyes grew wide with fear. Shoot! We were free falling now and it was only a matter of time before we hit the hard ground.

"We're falling!" I said nerviously to Peter. Peter outstretched his light grey wings and used them like a parachute. We hit the ground pretty hard but we only had a few bruises and cuts. SkyBird swiftly landed next to Peter and I. I smiled at Peter and SkyBird then turned to the President who was now starring at the three of us with the reporters.

"You have been lying to this nation about peace. You don't want to end wars. You want to start a World War Three!" I said enraged.

"N-no! I do not want to start a World War Three! And you all have w-wings! That's impossible. No one can grow wings and just fly away!" the President shook his head in disbelief.

"It is very much possible. In fact there have been people with wings or as we call them avians lving on Earth for centuries. We have been hiding from the human race. Oh and we can tell you're lying. Stuttering is a sign of lying," SkyBird countered.

The President's face grew red from pure anger, "That's it! I don't need kids telling me what I'm doing wrong and what's possible!" He took out a gun and pointed it at SkyBird.

"No! SkyBird!" I screamed shutting my eyes as the President pulled the trigger. I could not and would not watch my twin sister get shot. SkyBird plugged her ears and shut her eyes. She waited for the pain that would soon come.

"It's okay...SkyBird and Hero...Everything's...okay now..." Peter said in a soft whisper. His voice was weak and shaky. I opened my eyes and saw blood everywhere.

"AHHH...!!!"
