A man in a lab coat came into the room with four army men by his side. The flock was all huddled together on the ground. Luna, Sol, Skylar, and Peter had been up for a while now.
"Hi there. My name is Dr. Williams. I need to see Katheryn," the man said looking at a chart he was holding in his hands.
"Ok," Katheryn said nervously as she rose to her feet. She walked out with Dr. Williams and the four army men.
"What do you think they're going to do to Katheryn?" Aisha asked concerned.
"I don't know. If I knew I would tell everyone," Ayame replied. SkyBird nodded her head.
Dr. Williams brought Katheryn outside to a fenced in area. The fence went high up and over their heads so no avian hybrid could escape. had barbed wire wound all around it.
"So why'd you want me?" Katheryn asked.
"I need you to show me the special abilities you have. If you don't then we'll kill you," Dr. Williams replied.
"Ok," Katheryn said. She looked up at the grey sky. She concentrated and focused her thought on the weather. The grey sky slowly opened and showed a bright blue sky. The sun shown through. Then the beautiful clouds swirled the sky into a dark grey sky. Thunder began to rumble. Lightning struck the sky. Rain began to pour down. Katheryn looked up at Dr. Williams who stood there in awe.
"How's that for special abilities?" She asked.
"Marvelous. Simply marvelous," the doctor said. Dr. Williams brought Katheryn back to the room. She hugged her friends.
"I know need to see Ayame," Dr. Williams said checking something off on the chart he carried with him. Ayame stood up and walked out with the man and the army men. Dr. Wiliiams brough Ayame to a lab room which had a big bucket of water, a rat in a cage, and a wounded cat in a cage.
"Show us your special abilities," Dr. Williams said to Ayame. Ayame rolled her eyes and walked over to the rat in the cage.
"What's this for?" she asked.
"Use your blood bending abilities on it," the doctor answered coldly. Ayame looked down at the pour little rat wth sadness. She quickly used her blood bending ability and the rat died. She turned around quickly so she wouldn't have to see what she did to the poor animal. She walked over to the wounded cat.
"Heal it," Dr. Williams ordered. Ayame grunted and healed the cat. She finally walked over to the big bucket of water. She began water bending and made all the water splash onto Dr. Williams. Ayame laughed at the sight of it.
"I wouldn't laugh you little freak," Dr. Williams replied. Two of the army men gabbed Ayame and dragged her back to the room. Dr. Williams dried himself off with a towel before entering the room.
"I need Luna," Dr. Williams said. Luna turned her head away and gave a growl. Two army men walked over and dragged her away.
"Luna!" Sol screamed.
"Don't worry I'll be okay! Just stay strong Sol! Stay strong!" Luna yelled back to herself. The doctor brought Luna to a room with a wolf on a chain leash.
"Use your ability to give and take energy fom the animal," Dr. Williams ordered.
"And what if I don't want to?!" Luna replied angily. She did not like people who messed with animals.
"Do it or I'll let these four army men kill you!" Dr. Williams answered
"Ugh! Why do evil people have to be so EVIL?!" Luna said in frustration. She slowly walked over to the wolf and took out the negative energy from it. She replaced the negativity with positive energy.
