It was different the way he strutted into class. His smile sparkling as he walked in. Nobody cared if he was late. Not even the strictest of teachers. His charm had an effect on everyone in class. He couldn't possibly be ignored.

His eyes scanned the room, looking for an empty seat. As he found one, he sat down. He came into class with only a folder in his hand that read "Matt Espinosa" written on the front, a pencil in his pocket. He pulled out a blank sheet of paper as the teacher nodded while taking role of us all.

He began to quickly write down the class work. This science class was my least favorite. All we did was notes.

I pulled out a composition book from my side slung leather bag and began to write the class work on the board.

"Class, get out your text book and write down the notes for chapter five, section three." Ms . Scholls says, followed by groans of unhappy students.

I finish early and grab my phone out of my bag. After we get done, we can use our phones. I browse through my twitter time line. I swear, people are so boring.

As soon as I open up the tumblr app, the bell rings and I stuff my belongings into the bag and walk out of class at a slow pace.

The whole day drags on slowly and when the bell rings at the end of seventh period, I sigh in relief and leave the classroom to go home.

Everybody rushes out of the classroom, too. Nobody wants to be trapped in an unpleasant place filled with people who constantly judge you and are rude. At least, those are my thoughts.

"Lily!" a high pitched voice squeals and I giggle, knowing that it's Zoe, my best friend.

"Hey girl! I haven't seen you since lunch." we both laugh at my sarcasm.

"So, how did your day go?" She asks me, her eyes gleam with curiosity.

"Ummmm... I'm not going to lie. It was really boring," we both laugh, "how was yours?"

"It was alright. Hey, aren't you glad today's Monday is almost over?"

"Most definitely. I hate Mondays with my whole entirety."

"Girl, don't even get me started!" She says as her soft curls bounce up and down with her head gestures. "Well, I have to go! See yah later, Lily Bug!"

"Bye, hun!" we give each other a quick hug and part our ways.

I decide I don't want to go home just yet, so I walk the empty halls. I just wander around. I never can actually look at posters on walls during passing period, because I have no time to.

I swear I am the only one in the hall until I here a deep and raspy voice, "Hey, um, it's, uh, Lily, right?" his smile gleams with uncontrollable beauty.

I turn around and see the boy who has so much confidence. The boy who everyone adores. Matthew Espinosa. "Uhh, yeah. Hi." I respond, making sure to add a slight smile at the end to not be rude.

"What are you doing around here? Don't you walk home right after school?" I was surprised he knew this much. "Not that I stalking you." I think he read my expression. Whoops. "But... well I... I, ummmm... I just-"

I cut him off because he seems a bit nervous and embarrassed. "No. It's okay. I understand." I giggle. This Matt Espinosa kid isn't as slick as everyone thinks he is.

"Okay. Good. Because I was making a total fool of myself." he starts to chuckle. "Back to the original question, what are you up to at school this late?" I can hear the curiosity in his tone.

"I didn't want to walk home just yet. I don't know. Sometimes I just want to be far far away from that place. You know?"

"Yeah. I know." Something seemed to trigger an emotion when I said that hut he quickly recovered. "Do you want a ride home?"

"Oh, I'm okay. I don't want to trouble you."

"No, it's no biggie. I can take you home. It's okay." he insists.

"Are you sure?" I ask.

"I'm positive."

"Well, then I guess so, yeah."

We begin to walk to the parking lot. It takes about five minutes to get there. The campus is huge.

Once we get into the parking lot, Matt leads the way to his black SUV. It was really nice, the inside was black and the seats were black leather. He explained to me that the reason why it was like this was because black doesn't get dirty quick.

We got in and he put the keys in the ignition, starting the car. He pulled out of the parking lot and asked me what street I lived on. Pretty soon we were pulling up to my house. The ride wasn't awkward at all. In fact, we talked the whole way there.

We pulled into my drive way and before I got put he grabbed my arm gently and asked, "Do you think I can have your number?"

I smiled at him, "Sure." we both exchanged numbers and I thanked him and said goodbye. Before I knew it, he pulled out and drove off.

*Matt: hey, is this Lily?*

*Lily: Yeah, hi (:*

We talked for hours that night. He was really a sweet guy.

The next morning before science class had started, Matt walked into the room early and walked up to me. At first evryones eyes followed his every movement, but pretty soon people went on about their own life.

He sat in the desk right next to mine and them scooted it closer to where I was sitting.

"Go out with me Friday." he half asked, half demanded.

"What?" I asked. Stunned by his question.

"You heard me, silly. I really like you." his eyes looked so innocent and i gave into his beautiful smile.

"Sure. Where are we going?" i curiously ask.

"We are going to a party." He says and smirks.
