Chapter 20 Taking You Out

Trevor's POV

"Aww, Look how nice he treats her! He gave up his spot in A-Troupe for her." Jordan exclaims. "Trev, Why can't you be more like James?" Brittany asks teasing. "Why can't you be more like season 1 Riley? Sweet and innocent." I chuckle. "Hm excuse me? Sweet and innocent is my name." She giggled. "You wish." I reply and the girls go back to watching season 3 of The Next Step.

It's currently 6am and most of us cannot sleep because of the bumpy road. We have been on the road for nearly 9 hours with an hour and a half left to Brisbane. The girls have been annoying saying stuff about how I should be more like James. They wish James could be more like me, not me like James.

I got up from the back couch and went to the front of the bus, it was empty so it was quieter then the back room. I poured some juice into a glass and heard the door open to see Brittany appear still in her sleepwear. Her hair wasn't to messy and I could tell she didn't have any makeup on her already beautiful face.

"Could we talk?" She asks quietly and I nod. "I will make this fast but over the past couple of days I have thought of you nonstop and I think I..I like you too." She says shocking me.

"Wait, you actually like me?" I say stunned as she bites her lip and nods. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear that." I chuckle.
"It's only been a few weeks" She giggles and wraps her hands around my neck. She gets closer and closer, I feel her breath on me but then both of our heads turn to the door as we hear foot steps. Brittany and I separate and act like nothing had just happened between us.

Isaac appeared and greeted us happily while I did the same but I did not do it so happily. I was so close to kissing Brittany after weeks of craving her soft pink lips and he had to ruin the moment. The moment I waited for so long and it was finally happening but no. Isaac came in the room, like always, we couldn't be left alone for five minutes.

After that, the bus came more and more alive. Everyone was now awake and inpatient to get off the bus for fresh air.

Myles, Briar, Victoria, Isaac, Brittany and I where all hanging out in the front room with a very popular subject on our minds. Who was going to find a partner next for the cast? Brittany and I both knew who but we just smiled letting them talk.

"It would be so fun to go on a double date with one of you guys." Briar says. "Do you think Lamar will find a girlfriend?" Victoria asks. "Yea maybe." I reply. "How about you Brittany?" Isaac asks. "I'm surprised your still single." He adds. "Oh I think I will find one soon." She smiles and I know exactly who she means.

"How about you and Victoria?" She giggled. "Ah Isaac is my teddy bear." Victoria says and Isaac wraps his arm around her. "Nah, Isaac is a potato chip." I laugh and everyone joins me. "Bro, I thought we got over the food references." Isaac exclaims. "Nah, it will never be over." I say.

Soon enough we arrive in Brisbane and I couldn't be more thrilled about having a hotel. Jason, gives everyone a hotel key, like normal. I grab my luggage and head to room 178.

This hotel was tricky. The girls are staying on two different floors and the boys are on one floor but on the opposite sides of the hotel.

I am sharing a room with Lamar and Myles this time. Lamar is somewhat neat and I am not neat at all and I have never shared with Myles but I heard he is messy as well, so we'll see how our room looks at the end of the two days.

All I wanted to do was see Brittany but I didn't know what room number she was. Yea I could text her but there was awful cell service in this hotel so that's not really an option unless I want to wait for 3 hours for it to send.

At lunch, All of us made plans to go to the pool in an hour and I asked Brittany her room number and I now have it.

Lamar, Myles and myself walk down to the pool. It was a smaller pool then the last one, barely any room to sit. Brittany Victoria and Briar were already down here. Briar, in the pool with Myles, who just joined her.

Victoria was lying on the only lounger, Brittany in a chair next to a table. I take off my white shirt while glancing at Brittany. Her reflecting sunglasses were covering her dark brown eyes, Her short blonde hair was up and her main focus was on the phone in her hands, probably texting her best friend Joelle.

I lean close to her and whisper "I want to take you out tonight." She blushes red and looks up with a smile and nods a yes. I was satisfied with her answer so I jump into the cold pool with Myles and Briar with Lamar joining us.

The rest of the cast did come down and then a few went back up to get some rest after a not-so-great night, mostly the girls. I couldn't wait for tonight. Of course it couldn't be fancy because both of us don't have any clothes to wear or a reservation but it'll be us and that's all that matters. I looked up the best restaurants and I knew which one I wanted to take her too. Every time I glanced at her she seemed to be looking at me the same. Her smile was bright and so was mine. I think she was looking forward to the date more then I was.

Eventually I dried off and put my white t-shirt back on my bare top half. I hung out on the pool side watching the other cast swim or just relax in the shallow water. Lamar and Isaac were doing handstands in the pool trying to out do one another.

When I was bored of the pool, I walked up on my own towards my shared room. I passed other hotel guests whom I just friendly waved to. I slide my card in the lock on the door and open it. I pull out some of the nicer clothes I had packed. Brittany and I texted each other saying how we should go to dinner with the cast so they won't get suspicious.

The hours slowly rolled by and after dinner I quickly change and fix my hair. I stroll out to the lobby and wait for my date.

Only moments later I see her looking everywhere but straight ahead at me. Brittany looked stunning. She has curled her hair, letting it drape down in parts of her face. Her makeup was perfectly done along with the jewelry she had on. The dress made her shine even more with a one strap V-neck  that stopped just above her knees. She spotted me and came over as quickly as she could with heals.

"Wow" I say taking her in, looking at every inch of her. "Thanks?" She giggles. "You look stunning B."
I tell her as she blushes. "You look handsome too." She says sweetly still blushing. I take her little hand, which fits perfectly in mine, and walk her out to the taxi that was waiting for us outside the hotel.

Brittany carefully climbs in as I do the same. We sit closely together for the short time we were in the cab. I feel her hand grip mine and squeeze it tightly not letting go. I turn my head to look at her, as I can't seem to stop. She lifts her head up so our foreheads are pressed together. Brittany and I stare into each other's eyes. This is already a perfect start to a perfect night.

Aha I left you on a cliffhanger kinda.. I had to keep it interesting. Thank you for all the comments and votes, it means so much. But, TRITTANY is finally going on a real date! 20 chapters guys. You've waited this long for it.  I think I would have been impatient but thanks for being very patient with me!
