Lissa's pov:
Jay and Nadine suddenly stand up I see Amy, James and everyone else copying them. Matt pulls me up and that's when I see an entire army of Veils and several other monsters. I know we're all going to die one day, but savaged by creatures in the middle of a freezing cold forest? Not exactly how I imagined it.
"The Circle," one of the Veils step forward, and I remind myself not to be scared. Matt holds my hand and Moose takes my other one. He seems to be warming up a lot lately.
"Missed us?" James sneers.
"It is a shame you'll never be completed," the Veil replies. "Your final member is weakening,"
There's an extremely tall man with black hair and a leather jacket standing in the middle of a group of Veils, with his back facing towards us. I don't know how the hell he hasn't collapsed.
Suddenly, he turns around and it's...holy fuck, it's Andy Biersack.
I sneak a glance at Nadine, who's mouth has dropped wide open and the others look just as shocked.
"The Prophet...I'm sure as hell you didn't see that coming," a second Veil sneers.
"Where the fuck is Ashley and Jinxx?" Andy growls.
"Wait - what?" Nadine looks confused.
"Now is not the best time to explain!" James says. He holds out his arm. "Let Andrew go, now, and I won't hurt you,"
"Of course you will," the first Veil says angrily. "You're the reason we're here-"
"James Alan Hetfield, if you don't tell us what's going on right now..." I warn James. Wow. I'm actually threatening Metallica's lead singer. Now that is something I never though I'd do.
James shouts something weird in Latin and then there's a flash of light coming from his hands and it hits the two Veils. There's nothing but a pile of ash from where they last stood.
"Jesus..." Nadine looks amazed. "I wanna do that!" she grins.
James steps forward, holding out his lethal, lightning bolt hand and adresses all of the Veils. "You saw what I did to them. Let Andrew go and you have my word that I won't hurt you,"
"Never," a new Veil steps forward. This one is slightly smaller than the rest of them. "We want our vengeance,"
"And I want my best friends back," Andy snarls and grabs the small Veil by the throat and holds it up in the air.
"The Prophet is angered," the little Veil smirks. He's not even choking.
"Damn straight he is!" he throws the little Veil to the ground. "And he wants his best friends back,"
"What have you done?" Amy asks the Veils with venom in her voice. "Where are the Protectors?"
"Someone needs to sit down and explain all of this to me," Jay murmurs. "Now,"
"You don't get what's going on either?" Nadine looks relieved.
"Nope," Moose shakes his head. "Remember what we said about how only Amy and James knew what the whole deal was? And how we'd find out when the Circle is complete?"
There are dark grey clouds covering the sky and a light drizzle has started and thunder crashes above our head. How very cliche.
There's a second flash of light, but this time there's no piles of ash that used to be Veils.
Jake Pitts and Christian Coma are standing next to us, looking just as angry as Andy.
"The Destroyer and The Mourner have arrived," the little Veil sneers. "Such a shame it's too late,"
"I'm going to leave in a minute if someone doesn't tell me what's going on," Padge murmurs.
"I'll be joining you," I agree. "Hint, hint," I snap at James and Amy.
"Enough talk!" the little Veil shouts. Oh God, I had a feeling it'd say something like that. "Veils, get them!"
"We're shitted," Nadine groans.
"Get Matt out of here now!" Amy commands.
"Dream on!" Matt snorts.
James does some more of his lightning bolt zaps. Ride the lightning...now that song makes sense to me.
Moose suddenly howls and he's Moose-the-fucking-werewolf-that-tried-to-eat-us. Jay shifts into a Adlet and Padge does his freaky-as-hell-vampire thing. Naddie's Valkyrie sword comes flying through the air and she grabs hold of it, grinning in delight. She looks like a proper viking as well, minus the helmet.
I feel my angel wings growing and that's when I realise the battle's truly begun.
Well shit.

CC really lives up the name 'Destroyer'. He's like a machine, racing around and smashing the Veils into the ground. James, Amy, Padge and I appear to be the only ones with supernatural powers while the rest of them are all engaged in physical combat. Nadine's proving she's no delicate flower with her sword.
Pagde uses some creepy ass telekinesis to send Veils flying into trees or into Jame's lightning bolts. Amy's firing her witchy spells everywhere, and we have to duck everynow and then to avoid being incinerated. James uses his badass lightning and storms around, burning Veils to the ground. He really is the Master.
It seems the more we wipe out the Veils, the more they come back.
"Duck!" Nadine yells and as I duck, I hear her sword whizzing over my head and I look behind me and there's a Veil that's been impaled by her. Shuddering, I pull out the sword and hand it back to Nadine.
"We're never going to hold them off!" she yells and turns around, swinging her sword and killing yet another Veil.
"I still don't get why we have to kill them. Can't we just...try to make peace?" I sigh.
"I'm going to call you Ghandi from now on," CC laughs and grabs a Veil by his neck and throws it to the ground.
Suddenly, the Veils all stop what they're doing. They all walk away from whoever they're fighting and stand together in a long line, with their veiled faces staring at the ground.
I'm already shaking and everything's going slightly dizzy.
"Don't look," James shouts. "If we're all terrified then they can kill us with our own fear!"
But there's just something so...mesermizing about them.
The Veils look up, facing us slowly. Holy Batman.
"We are the Veils," they say at the same time in a monotone voice. "And the Circle will never be complete,"
Slowly, very slowly, they turn their heads. That's when I realise, with a sinking feeling, they're turning to look at me.
"Look away!" CC yells. "Don't let them see-"
Too late. They're facing me and it all goes black...
A/N:
Cliffhanger. Oops. Hope you enjoyed that chapter and sorry for being so random with my updates. Sometime's I'll be so stuck for ideas that I'm wondering what the hell to do with the story and sometimes I've got so many ideas I have no idea how to get them down.
Well ONE more chapter to update and then an epilogue.
And I've decided to make it a sequel. Oh, and I'm sorry if that battle description was crap (which it was.). I'm terrible at writing battles because I hate making characters suffer and die and I hate fighting and stuff...yeah, I'm a bit of a pussy tbh.
