I woke up lay over Ethan, I slowly move off him, so I don't wake him up and walk into the kitchen, where Daisy is stood with a coffee
"You and Ethan looked pretty close there" Daisy smirked
"So did you and Gray" I laughed
"Yeah he's nice, nicer than any guy that goes to our school, as well as being on the football team" she winked, Daisy had always wanted the cliche cheerleader and jock relationship
"That's true they're so nice"
We both looked into the living room and at the twins who were just waking up
I could vouch for how nice they were, they'd always been there for me when I needed them to be.
"Guys! What about a McDonald's breakfast?" I shouted through
Where we are from this is the best hangover cure known, I mean who doesn't love the milkshakes?
They nodded their heads and we ran upstairs to get ready
Daisy gave me her little blue sundress, brown sandals and some natural make up to wear
Thank god we're the same size
I was about to talk to Daisy about me and Ethan when our names were called
We ran back down the stairs to see the guys waiting for us at the door,
"Come on then, I'll drive" I said looking at the hungover twins
"You sure, I mean you had a lot to drink as well" Ethan winked
"Yeah but I'm not hungover like you two"
Ethan jumped in the front seat calling shotgun and Daisy and Grayson dived in the back
The music was quite loud and Gray and Daisy were talking to each other so couldn't hear mine and Ethan's conversation
"Pops I was thinking of telling Gray our plan so he can help" Ethan whispered turning to me, I kept my eyes on the road
"Yeah sure, I could tell Daisy she'd carry it out" to which Ethan nodded
"Let's tell them when we're eating"

We walked into McDonald's to see half the party had ended up here. We joined the back the back of the queue and waited to order. I grabbed my purse out of my bag, only for Ethan to take it off me and put it back in my bag.
"You're supposed to be my girl now, and I treat my girl right, so I'm paying" he smirked.
"Alright big man looks like I'm rather hungry this morning" I laughed.
We got to the counter, Ethan ordered a chicken select meal and a cheese burger, I ordered a chicken legend and 6 chicken nuggets. Hey don't judge.
Me and Daisy grabbed a table while the boys brought the food over.

After we had all finished eating we were sat chatting about last night and when Ellie barged in, how Daisy had thrown her out, what was even funnier is that Daisy had no recollection of this happening, she also had no memory of jumping into the swimming pool and how she was just in her underwear
Gray and Daisy started to move before I stopped them
"Actually guys me and Ethan want to tell you something" I looked over at them and then to Ethan
"Bro you haven't got her pregnant already"
"No!" Ethan said quickly making me laugh
"With everything that has happened to do with Ellie we, well Ethan, came up with a plan" I started
"We're going to fake date till the end of summer maybe into the start of school just to cover things" Ethan said
"Wait why? Ellie will start even more rumours about you" Daisy said, I knew she'd say that
"Yeah but if we fake date it'll get Ellie off Ethan's back and the rumours about him cheating would make her look bad - I mean I'm kind of a down grade from her" I said quietly, looking down at the table
"Don't say that Pops! You're as good as her" said Ethan wrapping his arm around me, my skin tingled where he was touching
We discussed the plan in more detail about how we were going to slowly pretend to get closer at all the parties, post instagrams together, go on day trips, all the things normal couples do. Gray and Daisy agreed to help and make it look real
The plan was for it to properly start tonight at the first bonfire of the summer which was held at Jack's house on the beach

Let's just hope there are enough parties this summer

Ethan's POV
I told Poppy that we should tell Gray and Daisy about the plan, but what she didn't realise was that Gray was already in on the plan he'd persuaded me that Poppy was the right girl for me and that fake dating would gain her trust if we ever dated properly. He'd also asked me to wingman him for Daisy, twins dating best friends seemed like a really cool idea.
