We were halfway around the path and I was struggling, Grayson had left us pretty early on and I told Ethan to follow but he wouldn't leave me, probably because he thought I'd go home, we were coming up to a bench and I decided I was going to have a break
"I can't I need to stop" I said to Ethan holding my stomach and breathing hard
"That's fine let's sit down for a bit"
We sat in silence looking at the sea, a couple of families walked past us and then a couple ran past together, both had a matching set of abs.
"Ethan do you really think this is believable?" I asked turning to face him
"What that you could run ten miles?" he joked
"No you idiot us fake dating, I just don't see it"
"I don't know to be honest but we'll see when we get back to school"
Before I can say anything else Ethan had started running again
"Back to school, Ethan I thought this was just for summer, Ethan!" He just carried on running.
I chased after him still panting for breath, we eventually got to the end of the path to see Gray lay out on the sand
"Finally! I could of run that track twice in the time you two took"
"Alright show off" I snapped back
I lay down next to him, hoping to sunbathe but no hope, Ethan put his knees on my feet
"20 sit ups" he said
"What's the magic word?"
"Abracadabra?" He smirked
"Please would have done"
I pulled myself up to look at Ethan and then dropped back down only 19 more
On the tenth sit up when I got to the top Ethan kissed me, only a peck
"Hey what do you think you're doing?" I asked looking at him "why did you do that?"
"Because that's what couples do"
"Yeah but we aren't a couple and there is no one here that we need to look like a couple in front of" I said defensively
"Alright I'm sorry Pops - now ten more please" he said with a wink
God I hate that boy sometimes.

We walked back to our houses and stopped by the driveways, I was just about to walk into my house when I felt one of them pick me up and start running
"What the fuck are you doing Ethan!!" I screamed, realising we were heading to the pool, before I could say anything else I was under the water
I spluttered my way to the surface and started climbing out
To be honest I was greatful for the cool down
"Sorry you looked hot" Ethan said with a wink
"Yeah well you look rather hot yourself, honey" I laughed as I got out the pool, running over to push him in
However, I forgot there was two of them so I ended up back in the pool with Ethan, not far behind came Gray
