Jealousy; Millards POV

All Hugh did was gawk and laugh with Fiona, as if she's the only person around. I couldn't help feeling a tiny bit jealous.

"Hugh! Where do you think your going?" I asked, after science. Hugh, Fiona and I met up with Emma and Jake to to to science whilst Enoch, Horace and Bronwyn went off to go to music.

Hugh and Fiona were ahead of me, giggling. I hated it. "Hugh?" I repeated. He turned round to me. "Yeah?" "Ain't you forgetting something?" Hugh face gaped over. "Oh, right right right. Well, I'll take a miss today, I mean we do it every week. Just one can go without a miss." And then he went into the lunch hall with Fiona. "You shouldn't have blown him off like that!" I heard her hiss. Well, I certainly didn't need her to stand up for me.

I walked alone slowly down to the library. I met up with my friends: Lewie, Zac, Freddie and Johnny. "I can't believe Hugh blew me off like that! Just to hang out with Fiona. I hate her!" Lewie shrugged. "I like her - she helped me when I wasn't listening to Mr Darrick in RE." Zac nodded. "I saw her in maths - she's pretty!" "We just heard about her - Hugh and Fiona looked so cute!" Freddie and Johnny said in unison. I sighed. Did she seriously have everyone fooled by her fake kindness? I couldn't  believe it! We all sat down to do our homework, so by the end of lunch, everything was completed. "See you next week, guys!" I called. They nodded and waved me out.

"Lola Deprive? Asher Everton? Fiona Frauenfeld?" Called Ms Tammerzon, our history teacher. "Millard Nullings? Lia Prom? Ava Quel?" I got board and started doddle in my Destroy-This-Diary book. It was a picture of Fiona going to prison and Hugh saying sorry to me. "What are you doing?" Fiona inquired, staring shoulder from the row behind. "Just doodling. You like?" I asked her smugly, showing her my image. She stared at it. "It's very... Um... Inventive." I knew she wasn't happy with it, which made me very happy. I smiled at her. Then she pointed out herself. "Is that me going to... Jail?" She asked. I nodded. "Like you said - I'm inventive." "Mr Nullings?" I turned at Ms Tammerzon. "Why are you not handing in your homework? Have you even done it?" I quickly pulled out my King Henry VIII essay out of my history study journal. Ms Tammerzon took it from my hand. "You'll do well to remember I hate it when people are not listening to me." She hissed.

After lesson, Fiona handed me back my Destroy-This-Diary journal back. "I like it, Millard." She whispered to me. Hugh came up behind us and swung his arm round Fiona. "Want me to walk you home?" He offered. Fiona shook her head. "Mary-Anne won't like it of I bring home a person on the first day. Thanks for offering, though." And she skipped off down the road. I glared at him. "What?" "You like her." "I do not!" "Do to!" I nodded to him. He sighed. "So what if I do?" "She's evil!" "She's perfect!" "How?!" "She's pretty, kind, shy, she's got a lovely singing voice, and she's friendly. Very friendly." I sighed. "Your simply a fool. She's fooling everybody! Do you seriously think she's a refugee from Ireland! She's just a liar!" I yelled, not caring about the many people turning to look at me.
