Hogwarts is a Magical Place

Chapter 6

 Lily Hope Lovegood

As I put my stuff in my trunk, River barges in my room.

"Hey, Lil. You might wanna come check out Louis' friend. His name is Fernando, but his nickname is Fox."

"Ok! I'll be right out," I say, putting my stuffed hippogriff in my trunk last.
I walk outside and am met by a cute guy with jet black hair, a red shirt, and thumbs in his jean pockets.

"And who are these lovely ladies?" Fox asks Louis, looking at me.

"Fox," Louis says, "this is Lily Lovegood and River Scamander," he says, pointing to us respectively.

I hold out my hand. "Nice to meet you!" He shakes my hand firmly, and then shakes River's hand.

Nova comes outside and hugs me. "Fox, this is Nova, my little sister."
"That's a pretty name," He says.

Nova motions me down so she can tell me something.

"Even if I do prank you sometimes, you're still my sister. I love you, Lily!"

"I love you too, Nova. Now go inside with dad." Nova runs into the house.

"Shall we be off?" I ask everyone.

"I think we shall," Fox says, and then leans forwards to whisper in my ear, "And I really like your hair"

"Thanks," I whisper back, tucking a strand of my blonde hair behind my ear. It came out of the french braid that mum braided for me this morning.

The car looked like a van on the outside, but on the inside, it was so big. There were beds in the back, and the seats on the sides of the van, like a limo. I let Louis and River climb in first, sitting on one side and I sit on the other. Fox comes in last, and sits beside me like, really close. I look at River and smile. We pull out our books at the same time. River is reading Quidditch Through the ages, and I am reading Maximum Ride Forever. River gives Louis Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. I look at Fox and he pulls out his copy of Divergent.

"I love Divergent!" I say, looking at his book, "Which part are you at?"

"I'm at the part where," He leans closer so Louis can't hear since he hasn't read it yet. "Tris is going to Dauntless. She just got on the train."

"Ooh, good part." I giggle.

"What part are you at?" Fox says.

I look at River and Louis and see them reading together, Louis' arm around River.

"I'm at the part where Max is with The Remedy in the air," I whisper.

"Is it bad that I want to kiss you right now?"

I lean back. "Yes! You barely met me!"

"I know you like books. You like all the books I like. And you are gorgeous."

"Ok. First off all, I don't merely like books. I love books. Second of all, you think I'm gorgeous?"

"Yes, and I think the colors in your hair are so pretty!"

"Yeah. What's your favorite color?"

"Red. This color." He points at his shirt. "What's your favorite color?"

"This color." I grab some hair that is dyed aqua and show him. We both giggle.
I look back at River and Louis to see that they are asleep on each other, books on the ground. I lean over and pick up their fallen books and stack their books on the chair next to them.

My eyelids start to feel heavy.
