Chapter 19

Right after he barges in I see Lily taking something out of her pocket.

"Hey, guys, do you want to play with Lumos?" she asks, taking Lumos out of her pocket.

We all awww because of the cute little cat. Even the dude that just came in. I look up at him to see him standing uncomfortably. When he sees me look at him, he begins talking.

"Um... can I sit here? Everywhere else is full..." he trails off. 

Lily looks him straight in the eye and says, "Yes," scooting over to let him sit by her. 

I start to get uncomfortable when he starts asking her questions.

"What's your name?"

"Lily, what's yours?"

"Newt, Newt Dale Weasley. Are you a first year?"

"Yes, and I'm assuming you are too?"

"Yes!"

At this point, he was petting Lumos, and I was getting really uncomfortable. "Hey Lily," I said, "want to come sit by me?"

"Sure! Hey, Louis, can we trade spots so I can sit by Fox and you can sit by River?"

Louis looks up, a bit surprised, because he was engrossed in a conversation with River. "Sure," he says, and switches with Lily.

I entwine our fingers together, and she leans on my shoulder. Just then, the trolley witch walks past our compartment.

"Anything from the trolley, dears?"

I start to say no, but Lily digs into her coin pouch and pulls out a few Sickles.

"I'll take... a box of Bertie Botts every flavor beans, and three chocolate frogs!" she says.

Louis takes out a few, too. "May I have two chocolate frogs?"

After Lily hands me Lumos, they both go to the trolley witch and get their loot. As they sit back down, she rolls down the isle, shouting, "Anything, ANYTHING from the trolley!"

After Lily sits back down, she hands me a chocolate frog, and what's-his-name one, too. "We can share the beans," she says looking at me. Lumos is getting comfy in my lap.

"Thanks," me and what's-his-name says at the same time.

"Awww, she likes you!" Lily squeals, as I unwrap my chocolate frog.

A few jelly beans later, she is asleep, too. Lily is leaning on my shoulder. She looks adorable, and I love her outfit. She's wearing a white and blue tank top and a yellow skirt. It's one of my favorite outfits on her. I'm just wearing my bland red shirt. I look at her neck and realize she's wearing the necklace I made her. And the ring. I smile to myself, then look at the other dude in the compartment.

"You're a Weasley, too... Who are your parents?" I ask him.

"George and Veronique." He says.

"How come I haven't heard of you before?" I ask him.

"My parents didn't like me... they thought I was a disgrace. Plus, they wanted a girl. Are you dating Lily?"

"Yes, yes I am."

"Oh," he says. He looks disappointed.

I look at Lily. She looks so cute sleeping, but we're almost there, and we still haven't changed into our school robes.

"Lily, wake up!" I whisper talk. She sits up and rubs her eyes. "We have to change into our robes!" 

"Right," she says. "I'll hold Lumos so you can get dressed first."

The other Weasley kid flies out of the compartment, probably to change into his robes, too. I clear my throat loudly. "Guys, let's go into the room of requirements at 12:00 on Saturday!" 

"Okay!" Everyone else answers. I grab my robes and go change.
