Hogwarts is a Magical Place

Chapter 10

  Lily Hope Lovegood

So I guess I have a boyfriend now. I wonder what will happen. When we walk in the stadium, I am greeted instantly by strong winds. My hair blows everywhere, wavy because I took my hair out of the braid this morning. Fox reaches over to brush the hair out of my face.

"I have an idea," Fox says, walking over to the Appleby Arrows merchandise stand and buys a headband and some thin, mesh scarves. He hands me the headband, which I put in my hair, then gets my hair together and ties it with the scarf. He puts the other scarf around my neck.

"Um, thanks," I manage to mumble, looking away.

"Um, do you want anything?" Louis awkwardly asks River.

"Can I have a chocolate frog?" River asks.

"My pleasure!" Louis answers.

As we climb the million sets of stairs, I whisper to Fox, "I wish these people weren't so slow. Then we could run up the stairs."

"I agree," Fox whispered back.

When we get up there, I sit down and Fox sits next to me. "It's chilly up here!" I say.

"Do you want my jacket?" Fox inquires.

"Nah, I sorta like the cold."

River leans over Louis, and motions me to listen. I lean over Fox. "Guess what we found while you guys were setting up the tent!" She answers, not waiting for me to even ask, "A baby unicorn!"

I gasp, "Really?"

"It was so cute, Lily, I wish you could've seen it!"

River takes a breath to say more, but is cut off by the announcer. "I'll tell you later." Is all she manages to say.

By the first half hour, the Wimbourne Wasps are beating the Appleby Arrows, 50-30. Suddenly, a bright gold flash catches my eye. "There's the snitch!" I whisper to Fox. Just then, I see the Appleby Arrows seeker look at it. Immediately, there's a streak of blue where he was, only two seconds ago. The snitch flies around the pitch, and it's not long until the wasps seeker catches on.

But it's too late. The Arrows' seeker caught the snitch. Everyone wearing blue and silver erupts into cheers, standing up. I hug Fox, then, River, then Louis, then somehow manage to end up hugging Fox again, but this time, River and Louis make it a group hug.

When we get back to the tent, everyone is so hyped up and dancing. There is blue and silver everywhere. It is so fun!

"What a blast!" I say to Fox as we dance. "I almost forgot." I snap my fingers, and aqua blue replaces light blue and purple replaces silver. "I'm back!" I yell.
