Heavy tears ran down my cheeks and dripped onto my black flats.
"T-Travis, I-I'm so sorry." My voice quivered as I started my apology.
Everyone else had already left, all of them with a heavy heart and solemn faces. I wanted to leave too, it hurt so much to be here, but I couldn't without saying what needed to be said long ago.
"I-I'm sorry for the way I treated you, I'm sorry I hurt you in so many ways," My hands stared shaking, and my legs gave out and I dropped to my knees. "I'm sorry that I never told you I loved you too."
I started to sob, and my hands made their way to cover my mouth.
Why couldn't I tell you?
Why did you have to leave me so soon?
Why couldn't it have been me instead?
All of the questions I desperately wanted answered made their way through my mind, as I screamed the only words I could make out.
"I'm sorry!"
I miss your stupid smile
I miss your cheesy pick-up lines
I miss having you always by my side
I miss you Travis.
So much.
Please, come back.
