Let's get right into this shall we? So the first week of being in eighth grade isn't so bad. Besides the fact that every subject has an "Introduce Yourselves" portion. Honestly, at that time I only knew some of classmates by their faces but I didn't know their names. So in our Advanced Mandarin class, our teacher told us to introduce ourselves in Mandarin. I guess that was obvious enough ain't it? So our teacher called out our class numbers and we began to introduce ourselves. Our teacher called out a class number and then this beautiful girl stood up and proceeded in front. She said her Mandarin name and she talked about the things she likes and stuff like that. Meanwhile, Cupid barged in and looks like he has a new toy. He didn't bring his bow and arrow but he brought a pistol instead.

Cupid hit me with a bullet to the chest. After getting shot, our teacher asked the beautiful girl if she could sing. "Yes, Ma'am." She answered. The girl started singing a line from the song "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain. I immediately fell for her voice and cheerfulness. But I still didn't know her name so I decided to check her name on the list of students after our class. From this point onwards in the story, let's call this beautiful girl Magnamare. I combined the Latin words Magna (great) and Amare (love)
