"I just really don't know Normani i'm not up for this I haven't been on a date in years DJ please back me up" Lauren said pleading to Dinah as Normani was getting Lauren dressed.

"I don't know i kinda agree with her Lauren. You haven't been with anyone besides Camila since highschool. Dinah said looking Lauren in the eyes.

"She's right Lo I'm only doing this to help you otherwise i would've left it alone Camila disappeared. Your in College now studying to become a doctor don't you think it's time? Normani said to Lauren hoping she would take the hint.

"I know this Mani but i'm still not over her its been two years since highschool and I still can't let her go" Lauren sighed she missed the chocolate eyed girl so much even though time had flown by she still wasn't able to get over her and what scared her the most was that Camila was her first in many ways and no one can forget especially not her because when Lauren loved someone she loved hard harder then anyone could ever imagine.

"I know Lo, just try it out though nun can't go wrong just try one date you might like it. Normani said rubbing on Lauren shoulder hoping she would try to take the leap they had been friends for the longest Lauren and her. She didn't like seeing her friend suffer when she had a beautiful women by her side she wished for the same for Lauren. Dinah and Normani have been dating for 4 years now. they got together in 11th grade. Normani and Dinah wanted Lauren to be happy so she set it up with her from their dorm. Although Lauren knew the young blonde women she had know idea who she was going on this blind date with.

"Fine i'll try" Lauren straightened her leather jacket and tied her Doc Martens."What dorm room number is she in again Dinah?" Lauren asked.

"727 just keep an open mind Lo i'm sure you'll love it just give it a chance who knows what will happen". Dinah gave Lauren a hug followed by Normani.

Stay safe Lo we'll see you when you get back but i want details seriously" Normani said as she wave bye to Lauren. "I hope this goes well,she needs it". Normani said to Dinah as she closed the door. "You and me both"Dinah said

Lauren was headed to the dorm room wondering who the blind date was she really wasn't up for this at all her mind was flooded with memories of Camila and she couldn't decipher what was real or not anymore. Camila left Lauren with so much pain in her heart that it scared her to let anyone in anymore.

Lauren found the room number ~727~ it said on the door she knocked softly.

"One minute! The mystery women said behind the door. Lauren stood there as she heard foot steps coming closer to the door. The door opened..

"Hey uhh... Lauren why are you here is something wrong? Ally said

"Oh my gosh really guys" Lauren said under her breath

"What was that?" Ally said

"Umm nothing I'm here to pick up my blind date I'm assuming thats you since you are all dolled up" Lauren said. Ally is a beautiful no women no doubt in her mind about that but she doesn't compare to Camila nowhere  close to her.

"Yes, shall we go" Ally said closing the door behind her and locking it. Lauren held out her arm for Ally to take a hold of it.

"You look amazing by the way." Lauren said.

"Thanks you do too." Ally blushed. Lauren just  smiled as she walked Ally to her car. She still wasn't fond of this but Dinah told her to keep an open mind at that's what she was gonna do. Ally didn't seem like the type to be into girls she was all girly and accomplished that it surprised Lauren that she was the one she was taking on this blind date.

"Thanks" Ally said to Lauren as she opened the door for her "No problem" Lauren said as she shut the door. She walked to the other side of the car and got in and started the car.

"Where are we going." Ally broke the comfortable silence in the car.

"Honestly, I really don't know Normani and Dinah got us a reservation some where all I know  is the address."Lauren said with a slight chuckle.

Ally smiled at the gesture and said okay. They made their way to the destination and pulled into the parking lot of a fancy restaurant.

They did all this really Lauren thought to herself even though she knew that this wasn't a good idea she just focused on what Dinah said about keeping an open mind. She got out the car and gave the keys to valet so they could park the car. She walked around the back of the car to Ally holding her arm out again for the shorter women to grab and they walked there way into the restaurant.

They met a lady at a front desk who asked for their reservation nd she gave her the name Lauren Jauregui and she seated them.

"So tell me about yourself Ally we haven't really talked" Lauren said

"Well I'm studying at college to become a doctor for cancer patients. I'm 22, and i love nature and animals really just life in general and i really love to help people. What about you?" Ally said to Lauren while smiling at the taller women.

"Same actually, I'm studying to be a cancer doctor too. I love music also, music would be my second choice if i don't get to become a doctor." Lauren said Ally hummed in approval.

"What made you want to study as a doctor for cancer patients?" Ally asked

"Well actually my mom. She was diagnosed with lung cancer when i was younger unfortunately she losted the battle. I had to struggle with her watching her everyday through chemotherapy and watch her life end slowly when i was a young age. What about you?" Lauren said thinking back when she was younger and what she had to experience with everything her mom went through.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry for your lost. But umm my life has always been an experience i remember volunteering at a job at a hospital at 18 seeing the patients there inspired me honestly to help make a difference."Ally said she knew she really couldn't say much on Laurens story about her mom she felt really bad for the taller women.

"Thats nice, well appreciated and thanks. Lauren said. Dinner continued on like that for the rest of the night they spent together getting to know each other although Ally didn't compare to Camila she had a lot in common with the shorter women and it wasn't all that bad of a date.

"I had a great time" Lauren said as they we're standing in front of Ally's dorm

"Me too" Ally said they stood in silence fr a minute until Ally stood on her tippy toes to give Lauren a kiss. Although it wasn't the same as Camila Lauren enjoyed it and she could honestly get used to it.

"Good night, hopefully we can do this another time" Ally said

"Yeah, of course Good night Ally" Lauren said. Ally turned on her heels and went inside. Maybe that wasn't so bad Lauren thought as she left to head back to her dorm for a story filled night with her friends.....
