Present

I wanted to ask her so many questions. I wanted to know how long she's been this way. I wanted to know if this was the reason she left me. It was so many questions that was circulating around my mind that it made my brain hurt.

"Lauren! Lauren! Lucy said loudly

"Hmhm yeah what's wrong? Lauren asked with an worried look on her face.

"I've been calling u for five minutes Lauren what's up with you lately you've been spacing out and I don't get it if its me tell me." Lucy said she just wanted answers she didn't get why Lauren was being so distant and spaced out. She wanted to know what's been on her mind so much that she didn't even hear her calling her.

"I need some air." Lauren said grabbing her keys she needed to tell someone and she knew it couldn't be Lucy cause shed freak out and assume things so she headed back to Dinah and Normani's house to tell them what's been going on.

Arriving at the girls house she knew she needed to tell then what's happening but as soon as she pulled up outside she was so nervous. Lauren has been sitting in the car for 20 minutes now debating to get out or not. She gets out the car finally and knocks on the door.

"Omg Lo! Its been awhile where have you been? Normani asks.

"Mani it's literally been a week calm down seriously. Lauren laughs

"A week is to long Lo so how's the wife? Mani asks as she takes a seat in the couch with Lauren next to her. She turns to Lauren to get a better view.

"Umm well she's fine but she's not why I came." Lauren says perusing her lips.

"Um okay then why'd you come." Mani says tilting her head slightly. Before Lauren can continue you Dinah walks in the room.

"Hey Lauren! We missed you around here. Dinah says but Nor man I quickly shuts her down with a stern look.

"Baby, she was just about to tell me something so what is it Lo does she need to leave? Normani asks

"No, I think you both wanna hear this. They looked at her strangely but Lauren continued anyways. "Camila's back she came to the hospital early afternoon yesterday". Lauren says looking at their responses to what she said they were waiting for her to continue so she did.

"She has cancer. Lung cancer she's really not how you'd remember her. She's more paler and weak." Lauren says

"Wait what, no way, you kidding right? Dinah says with tears in her eyes Mani grabs Dinah's hand for comfort.

"Not unfortunately not I wish I was. I wanna ask her so many questions but I can't. Not yet at least she's to weak and she's not really talking. She's been staring that's all she does since I checked on her last this morning but she's fine. Lauren said

"She's not fucking fine Lauren. She has fucking cancer there's nothing fine about that we can lose her." Dinah said she fell to her knees Crying. Normani quickly getting up going to Dinah comforting her.

"Lauren I think you should go we'll talk about this later." Normani says. Lauren nods and makes her way out the door.

"Just for the record Dinah I will not let this take her I won't let her die because of this I will save her I promise." Lauren said as she left and shut the door she knew this was gonna be hard for Dinah but she also knew she couldn't keep something like this from her even if it hurts her she needed to know....
