Chapter 10

The next day was more peaceful. Camz was able to get out of the bed seeing that her breathing was back to normal. I wanted to tell Dinah and Normani about Camila's mom but she told not to say anything last night. So I didn't but Dj and Mani was coming up here today to see her and we all decided we'd get ice cream around the block for the hospital. Cold stone was my favorite when since I've been a kid. I loved trying the flavors and sometimes even combining them. Camz got me into because she'd do that when we went as teenagers.

Arriving at the hospital I was able to have weight lifted off my shoulders. Normani and Dinah was already here surprisingly because it was early. I got the news that we'd be able to do Camz transplant this weekend that was only a couple days away it was Thursday. Everything seemed to be going as planned.

"Good morning guys I said walking towards Camila and Dinah. Camz was smiling up at me and I knew why and I couldn't stop thinking about it either. That kiss was amazing even though she started crying I still loved it. Camila was a strong person and I knew this everyone knew.

"Hey Lo she smiled widely.

"Hey Camz how'd you sleep?  I said taking ahold of her hand sitting in the empty chair next to her bed. Dinah was unbelievable I was sorta jealous but she was laying in the bed with Camz and Camila looked comfortable with it.

"I slept okay I guess I didn't have any bad dreams. She said bad dreams? I thought she was having dreams and I didn't know were they dreams of like her ice cream falling off her cone? Because knowing Camila that's a bad dream to her. Or was it a night mare I had no idea I'd her about it later though.

"That's good. Are you ready for ice cream later on? I said smiling down at her.

"God yes... I haven't had ice cream in while I didn't really have a taste for it but it sounds more good when you say it. She smirked and I looked around but Dinah was engaged in a conversation with Normani. Wow so nobody caught that but me and Dinah was laying right next to her.

I cleared my throat" yes I guess so. I said

"Have you ate today? Normani asked Camz

"Um no not really Camila chuckled

"Well you can't have desert if you don't it real food Chancho. Dinah said looking at Camila with a serious face.

"I agree I butted in. Camila just looked at me in disbelief.

"Great so now your taking their side Lauren. She said with her eyebrow slightly rose.

"Yes Camz I'm just looking out for what's best for you health I shrugged. And she slapped my arm.

"Ouch! Camz why'd you do that. I said starring at her with wide eyes.

"You deserved it. She shrugged. Dinah and Normani started chuckling and I turned my head at them and gave the a death glare and they stopped.

"But in all seriousness Chancho you need to eat what are you in the mood for? Dinah asked curiously. Camz turned and looked my way and started smiling. Oh no I thought. Dinah and Normani looked at each other and back at us I knew they thought something was up I just hadn't told them.

"Yogurt and fruit she spoke up. Snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Okay we'll get you some you want anything Lauren? She asked facing my direction now.

"No thanks I had breakfast this morning. I said. She said okay and left the room with Normani leaving just me and Camz in the room.

I didn't have time to say anything though before I felt her full lips against mine. It wasn't eager it was passionate and not even lustful. I love the way her lips felt against mine.

Suddenly I heard something drop it was Ally.

"No way she said with her eyes wide.

"Umm hey Ally. I said shyly I didn't know what to do.

"Lauren what was that? She asked. I didn't say anything just got up and started walking towards her.

"Camz I'll be right back. I said before walking out the door with Ally trailing behind me.

"Ally I can explain I said. And she stood there so I took it as a que to start explaining.

"Camila and I we used to date back when we were teens. We were in love and happy she used to live with me because of some circumstances. But she disappeared. You remember when I caught you with Zayn? I asked her features got soft looking almost a little sad but she nodded.

" I was coming to tell you that day about her we haven't talked in five years. I wasn't supposed to be telling her this but I had to explain before she got the wrong idea. "Lucy and I are getting a divorce she had an affair and she said some pretty nasty things towards me. Yesterday I found out we had the transplant for Camz and that's why I was here. I shouldn't be telling her this either I thought but I continued. "The transplant was from her mom. I said and she looked a little confused.

"So she's getting her own mother's lungs that's what your telling me? Ally said still in shock.

"Um yes she is. Her mom go into a car crash last week and she had been really hurt badly but her lungs were fine so we decided that we'd use them for the transplant. I said

"Wow sorry about you and Lucy though. She said rubbing up and own my arm.

"It's okay I'm fine. I said

"But you know that still doesn't explain why you guys kissed. She pointed out.

"True. But last night she asked me to kiss her and I did I guess she missed me so she kissed me again. I said shrugging.

Oka.. that's all that Ally managed to get out before I heard Dinah screaming for help.

Damnit so much for ice cream I thought....
