Chapter 12: Beast.

Hayden's pov

I don't even know how to explain what happened. I died and now I'm alive. Theo brought me back to life to be apart of his pack. No one even knows I'm alive. I didn't talk to Liam when I saw him because I don't know what to say. Plus he wasn't even there with me when I died.

Right now I'm with my sister. She got a call to check out the communication towers and she's dragging me with her. She said she's never leaving me alone again because I went missing for three days. She still has no clue that I died and came back to life. She doesn't even know what I am.

We get to the building and she tells me to stay where I am and she goes in. I'm just sitting here thinking when I hear something. I perk up and get out of the car and close the door. I see someone in the reflection of the window and turn around and throw a punch.

"Liam!" I yelled.

"Sorry!" He said

"What are you doing here?" I said

"I sent you like a hundred texts." He said

"I saw" I said

"You saw? That's it? How could you not tell me that you were alive?" He said

"Maybe because you left me for dead" I said

"You were dead" he said

"Liam, you need to go." I said

I start to hear growling and we look over and see this huge creature standing right in front of us. When I say huge, I mean huge.

"What the hell is that?!" I said

"Run" Liam yelled.

Liam grabs my hand and we start running away.

"Hayden, run!" I hear my sister yell from far away.

"Liam, what is it?" I said while running.

"I don't know! Just run!" He yelled.

We get to the woods and hear this creature running behind us. We get to a cliff and Liam puts his arm out in front of me.

"Jump" I said

"Are you kidding?" He said

"We can make it. Come on" I said

We both back up and run and jump off the cliff and I land on the other side.

"See, I told you" I said

I don't see Liam next to me and I turn around and see him hanging off the cliff. I go over to him and grab him but the creature jumps over too and roars.

"Do you trust me?" He said

"What? No!" I said

He grabbed onto me and pulled me down and we both fell off the cliff.  I land and hit the ground and groan in pain. I sit there for a second and feel my body start to heal. I then look over to see Liam not moving.  I get up and go over to him and start hitting him across the face and he opens his eyes.

"What are you doing?" He said

"Making sure you're alive" I said with an attitude.

"Oh, I can't move my legs.  I think my backs broken." He said groaning in pain.

"Will it heal?" I said
