Lydia's pov
She would be known by history as the Maid of Gevaudan. But her real name was Marie-Jeanne.
Gerald and Chris are telling Parrish and I about history on the beast. Over a hundred years ago, the beast was hunted down by Marie-Jeanne. A French hunter.
"Maybe someone should resurrect her" Parrish said then started leaving.
"Don't leave" I said
"My dreams aren't like yours, Lydia. I'm not just a harbinger of death. I'm the cause of it." He said then left.
"Jordan..." I said
"Let him go." Gerald said
"Why?" I said
"Because as much as we believe Parrish could take on the beast...neither of us think he's our only hope at stopping it." Chris said
"What do you mean?" I said
"We think there's another." Chris said
"You...and Skylar" Gerald said
Skylar's pov
Liam is laying on the ground in pain and the beast ran off. Stiles and I run over to Liam and he's groaning in pain. Hayden then runs over too and they help him up.
"We have to find Scott" I said
We all go into the school and everyone is running around like crazy screaming. We hear the beast roar and we continue walking. We take Liam into a classroom and I push stuff off the teachers desk and they lay him on it.
He starts screaming in pain and we rip his jersey off.
"Liam" Hayden said
"I'm okay" he said panting.
He has this huge deep cut in his chest and we all look at it in shock.
"What? Is it bad?" Liam said
"Very" stiles said while Hayden said "no" at the same time.
"Okay, okay, what do you guys usually do when this happens?" Hayden said
"Oh, I usually pass out. And I still might do that" stiles said trying to avoid looking at the cut.
"Please, don't pass out" I said
"Okay, maybe you need to add more pain" stiles said
"Add more pain?!" I said
"Yes, to trigger his healing" stiles said
"That's not gonna work!" I said
Hayden then leaned in and kissed Liam and stiles and I just stood there watching. We see the veins on Hayden get darker and notice she's taking his pain away. She pulls away and Liam let's out a sigh and relaxes.
"Okay, wow, next time someone's in pain, I'll make sure to kiss them" I said
"Yeah, only if it's me" stiles said
