Chapter XI: The First Date

NAM ESTATE

HAYOON'S POV

"DAAAAAAAAAD!!!"

My voice echoed inside our mansion as Seola and I entered.

One of our servants, Eunseo, came running towards us.

"My lady! We didn't expect you to be back so soon!"

"Yeah well you should've! Anyway, where's my father?! I've been trying to call him all this time and he isn't answering!"

"Your father hasn't come home yet, my lady." Answered Eunseo.

"My lady, maybe he's in a meeting right now." said Seola.

"AISH! Call him right now! I want to speak to him! My phone's dead already so step on it!" I shouted at Eunseo.

"Yes my lady!" Eunseo said before running off to get the telephone.

"Seola, make my favourite tea and bring it to the pavilion in the garden."

"As you wish, my lady."

I hurried off towards the garden and into the pavilion located in the centre. Behind it was pond complete with a miniature waterfall.

"YAH! HURRY UP WITH THAT PHONE!" I shouted as soon as I saw Eunseo came out with the phone on her hand.

She ran as fast as she could towards me and then gave me the phone.

"My lady, your father is on the other line."

"Yeoboseyo? Appa!"

"Oh! Hayoon-ah! You're at home already?"

"Yes but that's not the point! I didn't see Hyungwon today!"

"But I thought you got his schedule?"

"I did but his last class finished before mine so I was hoping he'll stay for a while before going home but, when we were dismissed, we went looking for him but he was gone already!"

"Really?! I'm sorry to hear that... But I'm sure you would see him tomorrow! How about checking him in his class tomorrow morning?"

"Hmmm, I'll check our schedule first. Oh good! Seola's here!"

Seola has just returned with my tea. She quickly handed it to me.

"Seola, let me see Hyungwon's schedule."

She took out her phone and showed it to me.

"Let's see... Ah! Perfect! Just perfect!"

"You'll be able to go check on him first thing tomorrow?" My dad asked.

"Yes! Oh this is so fortunate! I miss him so much already! Oh! Dad!"

"Yes dear?"

"Do you think... you can get his number for me?"

"Well, I think his father would be glad to give it. I'll call you in an hour or so, okay?"

"Thank you dad! I'm looking forward to it!"

After that, I handed back the phone to Eunseo.

"My lady, should I bring you some snacks?" she asked.

"Yes and quickly." I replied.

Eunseo bowed and quickly went back inside.

"Seola, my bag."

She handed me my bag; I opened it and took out a picture of Hyungwon.

"Oh Hyungwon, do you miss me? I miss you so much already! We may not have seen each other today, but tomorrow and the next days we will always be together! Seola, charge my phone so that my father can call me later."
