JOOHEON'S POV

"Sir, they're set to arrive anytime soon at Incheon."

"Thanks Yoonho. Can you get me a cup of coffee please? Just bring and leave it here. I'm just going to get something at the library."

"Of course sir."

Today is an uncertain day for the government.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court overturned the King's Royal Order meaning Hyungwon's exile in France has effectively ended and he can now come back to Korea. Just like what mom told me. This was clearly a win for the opposition. Not only did they manage to have the judicial arm of the government side with them, the person they can rally around to is finally coming back.

This also means that on the 14th of next month, there will be two weddings (both royal if that's what the opposition would also describe Hyungwon and Hayoon's wedding) in Seoul and at the same time.

On top of that, Changkyun's revelation to me the other night as well as Kihyun's.

All of these was making my head hurt again. And I've only been discharged a few hours ago...

Once Yoonho and I were out of my room, he went towards the stairs while I went to the opposite direction, towards the library.

When I passed by my dongsaeng's room, I stopped.

I had the urge to go inside and check her room but, I said to myself, "For what? To find evidence that she and Hyungwon are really in love with each other? Nah."

I continued walking instead towards the library before abruptly turning around and opening the door to her room.

"Great, you're a nosy brother now, Jooheon." I said to myself. I carefully closed the door behind me in order not to make any noise before walking inside her room.

Everything was organized and the room was clean.

I noticed there was some cleaning materials on the side. Since she's coming home in short notice, the servants must've been surprised. I wonder where they went off to. They left their stuff behind.

Walking further inside, I walked past by her bookshelf. Looking at the books' titles, I felt like yawning since they all looked boring to me. Don't get me wrong though, we both had decent education about the stuff in these books and I certainly know them but, they weren't my style.

"It's one history book after another... Geez... Then again, if Hyungwon likes the same thing..."

I caught sight of one book that stood out from all the others. It wasn't as thick as the books on its side and, it didn't even look like a book. It looked like a notebook. I grabbed the notebook and opened it.

"What the... these are all... poems... Oh, there are dates too and... these are all from Hyungwon?"

I started reading the poems as I started walking around.

"How could he have sent all these poems to her? And how did she even receive them? Does Changkyun even know this? Hayoon too?" Someone else must be helping them... It could be that butler slash best friend of his... Was his name Hyunwoo? Still can't believe that they are brothers now..."

And then, I noticed the painting of Deoksugung hanging on her wall. If there was one thing I didn't like, it was seeing anything not properly aligned. The slightest tilt or misalignment was enough to irritate me. I don't know what made me like this but ever since I was young, I hate seeing stuff like this...

Like this painting which was clearly tilted on its side. From afar, it's not that obvious but up close, ughhh... it was irritating.

"She should've at least made sure that this painting wasn't tilted."
