New Earth- Chapter Seven
This sure was a depressing home. But I sadly found one part of an answer to my thought. There was a little playground. Now it's bloody, and I see the red headed little girl was eaten. I felt so bad, but at least the parents knew to kill the brain.... Who am I kidding, the only good news is that she is pain-free now. Then I look over and see a little cardboard sign, like a tombstone shape. I look at it closely and read,' here lies the bestest doggie in the world, coco' It looked like a third grader wrote it, it was somewhat readable handwriting. "This is the saddest thing I have seen so far. And I have seen alot today." I said with a shakiness in my voice. "Yah, this is breaking my heart." he agreed. I was so in shock that I froze up. I snapped out of it when he put his hand on my shoulder and said, "But we will make it through, even with these emotional challenges." I smiled and let out a small chuckle. Then he smiled and I went to sit down. All of a sudden, I hear a song faintly, "Only you, can make me smile, only you, can make the darkness bright." It sounded like a song from the 60's. My eyes darted at Jesus. "Was that you?" I asked him, terrified. " I was gunna ask you the exact same question." He told me. "Where do you think it came from?" I asked him in fright. "The bedroom over there," He pointed to a room with the door shut, as if this place wasn't creepy enough. "but I checked the whole house." I grab his arm and we both slowly go towards the door. I slowly reach out my hand to open the door.
