They both stared, "We are doing fine, thank you." Michael said politely. I found myself in an awkward presence so I slowly left and went back to the others. "So are they around here somewhere?" I asked as I put my hands on my hips. "Maybe so, around and hour or two." Jack replied. "Oh, okay. That's good news, is everyone okay?" I asked and Jack nodded with a grin on his face. It wasn't that hard to tell that he was close to the other men, they were sort of like brothers, really close.
About a couple hours later I was called. "Kelee! Come here!" I rushed to the sound of Jesus' voice. Krrrkk, "We are at the gate, and we need the code. You might want to hurry, there's a couple of roamers on their way." I heard Chad's voice as I ran to the room with Michael and his daughter. I opened the door quick and they turned their heads quickly, I felt bad for interrupting their game of 'dollies' but the code was more important. "Hey, you! What's the code, and we need to hurry." I said fast while shaking my hands. "9814" Michael said as I rushed out of the room. "9814!" I yelled from across the room and I heard Chad from the walkie-talkie, "Thanks, we would have died out there." Chad, Marcus and Danny told all about the time they've been gone. "We almost died at one point by getting trapped, but luckily we have a brain here." Danny patted Chad on his back and smirked. "I'm just glad we are a family again, for now on we split up only when needed." I said as I looked everyone in their eye until they all nodded. Michael and his daughter came out of the room an introduced theirselves, all of a sudden I hear a banging. "Did you guys hear that?" I stood up and walked slowly towards the door crouching. I was in shock to open the front door and see a roamer had some how got into the gate right in time. I shut the door quickly before it could reach to grab me. "Okay, hand me a knife." I reached out my hand and got a hold of the knife, then I opened the door slightly. "Come on, try." I taunted the roamer. It moved in to bite me but I stuck in the knife between its eyes. It fell on the door and I kicked the (finally) lifeless corpse away from me.
