New Earth- Chapter 27

I gave a smile and then looked out the window. "Maybe we will see them and reunite with them in New Earth." I said. I was trying to comfort her more than me because I didn't want her to be sad. She looked at me. "Do you think we will make it to New Earth?" Her eyes were glossy from her tears that she didn't let out. "I KNOW we will make it to New Earth." I said in confidence. She smiled, took a deep breath, and jumped off the bunk. "Well, if you need me I'll be with the group. And thanks for the talk." She glanced back at me. "Ok, and no, thank you for the talk." I said to her. She just smiled and walked out of the room. I couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to get out of bed and go with the group. I wrapped a blanket around me and got off the bunk. Then I went to the group, which they were in the living room. When I walked in all eyes were on me. "See, I told you she would come out." Serenity said to the group. Were they talking about me coming to them? "Hey Kelee, are you sure we aren't doing anything specific today?" Chad asked. "Yah, I'm sure. If anything comes to mind I will surely let you guys know." I said. I feel good being the leader and giving orders. But sometimes it's hard because that power sometimes almost gets to my head. But I keep myself humble by thinking of myself being them. And living as them taking my commands, I don't want to be thought of as a jerk and a horrible leader. "Hey, you going to sit down or what?" Jesus asked, interrupting my thoughts. "Oh, um, yah." I sat down with them. I was wrapping my self in a ball with the blanket I had. "Are you cold?" Jack asked me. "No, It's just that these blankets are comfortable." I replied snuggling in the blanket. "Oh, ok." He said then looking back at the floor. "So, what were you guys talking about?" I asked to break the awkwardness. "Just getting to know eachother." Jack answered. "So, What's your favorite thing to do?" Chad asked. "Well, I liked to sing, draw, and play video games before.... You know." I said. "Ya, and cool, are you like an artist? And what video games did you play?" Chad asked. "I wouldn't say I was exactly an 'artist' but, I was pretty good at both drawing and singing. And I played xbox games, like Call of Duty, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto. I loved those games." I sighed. "Wow, so you're a girl gamer?" Jesus asked. "Yep." I replied. Everyone else seemed to be mind blown. " I always thought video games were for boys, and no girl ever played them. But you did. Wow." Serenity added to the conversation.
