i feel like i messed up the tenses but i dont really care also i cba to do a spelling check like always xo

dan's pov; (rip phil's pov oops)

We spent that night cuddled up together on the sofa, doing nothing in particular.

We put away our laptops and our phones.
The tv was turned off and it was completely silent in our apartment.

We were laying on the sofa in each other's arms, just enjoying the other person's company.

Phil's legs were tangled into mine and his arms were wrapped around my chest.
My head was resting in the curve of his neck and my hands were slowly intertwining with the older boy's arms.

He took away one of his arms from my chest and drew small patterns on my face with a touch as soft as butterfly wings flying through a pastel blue sky on a cool summers day.

I couldn't stop staring at him and the way the soft candle light illuminated his pale, almost translucent skin.

He truly was gorgeous.

After a long while, his eyelids started to slowly sink down and eventually they closed. His breathing slowed down and his arms turned weak.

'Phil? Angel?'

He slowly opened his eyes, as soon as he looked at me, a small smile started playing around his lips.

'You fell asleep and I'm so sorry that I woke you up, but we can't sleep here, we'll hurt our necks.'

He hummed in response.

I giggled, 'Philly, c'mon, we have to move.'

'Hmmm..'

'Baby, please, I don't want you to hurt yourself.'

He sighed but still had a small smile of pure happiness on his face.
He slowly sat up right and stood up. Then he did something I didn't expect from a sleepy, drowzy (is this a word sned halp) Phil; he picked me up and carried me to my room.

'Phil! Be careful, I'm way too heavy, you're going to break something!' I yelped out.

He answered that by pressing his lips against mine quickly; 'You're perfect, I wouldn't want to change you for anything, angel.'

He slowly put me down on my bed and handed me my pj's, 'I'm going to the bathroom.' he said and quickly placed a kiss on top of my head.

Flustered, I changed into my pajamas and waited for Phil to get back.

As soon as he got back - wearing his pajamas as well - he stood in my doorpost, a bit awkwardly.

'Dan.. Would you.. I mean.. I mean would you mind.. Or.. No.. I think..'

'Baby. Take a deep breath in, out and think. Don't worry.'

He took some deep breaths and then said, 'Would you mind if I laid next to you? Tonight? I mean-'

phil's pov;

Dan cut me off, 'Was that all?' he laughed.

'Yes?' I answered, softly.

'Of course you silly spork.'

I let out a sigh of relief as Dan pulled back his duvet to invite me to lay down next to him.

I walked around his bed in a slow pace and slid myself underneath his duvet.

As soon as I was comfortable, Dan rushed toward me and clung to me as if I was his oxygen he needed to survive.

I smiled; 'Wait Dan, the lights.'

Dan sighed and looked annoyed but he did quickly turn over to turn off the light on his bedside table, so did I.

'Aww..' I said.

'What's wrong baby?' Dan asked, concerned.

'Now that it's dark, I can't look at you.'

'Why would that be a problem?' he asks in the most serious tone, as if it's a genuine question.

'Angel, are you serious?'

'Yes, why wouldn't I be? Why would you want to look at me? I still don't understand.'

I physically felt a small pang of pain in my heart.

'Angel.. Please don't ever be sad. Give all your pain and demons to me. I'll take all your struggles, all your troubles. Lay them on me.'

Dan's eyes filled with clouds that wouldn't stop raining until Phil kissed away every single raindrop and he made them dry up, being the sunshine that he was.
